This is such an excellent mattress pad! I almost ordered the less expensive( also nice ) mattress pad by the same Company ( Whisper organic). But then I saw this one , which costs more but WELL worth it! You can see immediately that it’s heavier, and fuller. The fabric is silky smooth. . Perfect. The minute I opened this mattress pad, I was impressed with its quality. It is heavy, solid cotton, and I love the feel. You do have to wash it first, though, as I believe it was manufactured to be oversized to accommodate shrinkage. It fit perfectly and easily on my king-sized bed after being washed. And be prepared to reposition it in the dryer a couple of times, as with any heavy cotton bedding, it will dry on the outside of the pad and stay damp in the middle unless you reposition it a few times. Excellent high quality product. It is made well and made right down to the stitching. Give it a wash and it will help your sheets from sliding. This is not plushy but it makes a huge difference in how cool my bed is. Much better airflow and heat dispersion. I have a 3" latex topper and it more than fit my queen bed. I'm a very hot sleeper. This is so soft and for organic cotton i thought was a decent value. I wanted a cotton mattress pad to help hold sheets down on our slick new mattress. This does the job beautifully and we are getting the best sleep ever because of the added softness it provides. It’s not super thick but we didn’t want that so we were happy with the level of fluff which is more like a fluffy quilt.
