The media could not be loaded. We're slowly transitioning to this farmhouse industrial type light fixtures to replace our old dated light fixtures in our house. I received this one yesterday and couldn't wait to install it. I didn't even have to read the directions it's such a simple install. I had it installed in less than 10 minutes start to finish. Everything's included to mount it to your ceiling but it does not come with the retro LED light bulbs. We ordered a six pack of those on Amazon previously to have them ready. Now that I've had a slide installed and another one we're going to purchase more. We needed a wall hugger because we have 8 ft doors and the door is very close to the light in this particular powder bathroom. So we're limited on space and needed a ceiling hugger light so that the door wouldn't hit the light fixture when it opens. Anyways I uploaded a video so you can see this light in action versus pictures. I also uploaded the light that it replaces. It's clearly not even a contest in this light fixture is a huge improvement anesthetics. We are in love with this style light fixture. I can't wait to order more of them and get the rest of our house done. I've installed lots of light fixtures and ceiling fans so I didn't even have to read the directions with this light fixture. The light itself is nice was as large as I expected from the pics but it’s a semi flush light. It was ordered new but it was very dirty as if it had been used or stored and got dirty before shipping. It appears very sturdy and looks ok in my space. Read more

This light is sturdy and well made. I read complaints about instructions and time. There are instructions and there is 1 part that they could update. The wiring picture isn't the greatest. Black to black, white to white, copper to green screw. Both copper wires on the screw. Have 2 people. 1 holds the light while the other wires it up. It will be easier. You can use their metal piece or the one that was with the old light. It is easier to use the old one. If you use theirs, you just need to make sure you get the right holes to line up with the electrical box. If you don't have trouble, it should take 15-20 minutes. Make sure the power is off. The light looks great and works as intended. Relatively simple to install if you follow the directions. The only thing the directions don’t tell you is that you kind have to do all of them at the same time. And make sure you put the nuts onto the screws that hang down that connect outside of the base. The directions didn’t explicitly say that, but it’s easy to realize. So don’t really screw anything into completion until you’ve wire nutted the wires together. But it’s great that the thing came with spare hardware just in case. The only tools you may need is a screwdriver and a wire stripper.
