We live in an apartment and there isn't any room in our laundry closet to hang clothes. We put two of these on the lau dry room doors and they're working wonderfully! Very easy to put this together. They're very sturdy. We can fit about 10 articles on these spaced so that they can dry without getting moldy. These would fit on even narrow doors. We use them for drying clothes but they'd also be wonderful on a closer door to increase hanging space. The amazon price is less than I was able to find in any of our local stores. I ordered two and will be ordering two more! The bar sticks out far enough from the door that you can hang a full sized adult hanger and the clothing item does not push against the door. I have several of these in my home, but the 2 in my laundry room get the most use. I have them hung from the cabinet doors and they are super sturdy. This product is very sturdy and versatile. I bought two and use them to hang wet laundry, among other things. They're so convenient for an apartment dweller, because without them, a regular drying rack would have to be set up, stand in the way, and then be put away. These rods never have to be set up, nor are they ever in the way. A lifestyle influencer recommends temporarily hanging freshly-ironed clothes in the open air before they're hung in a closet. This really helps the steam or starch dry completely. (I know, I know - you don't iron. But some of us do.) When I get shirts out of the dryer, they're slightly damp, and I don't want to stuff them in the closet, so hanging them on a door rack where they can breathe is perfect. I was super impressed with the design, assembly ease and sturdiness. If you need instructions, you missed something. No tools required. The finish is first class, and it works just like you hoped. This over the door hanging system, is super easy to snap together in less than 5min. Took me longer to get it out of the box, verse putting it together. It is a little lighter than I expected. It's not flimsy or feels like its going to fall apart or anything. I just was expected something with a little more weight to it. But then again, you don't want it to be too heavy, then you add your hangers of whatever to it and that all creates extra weight and pressure on your door. So I guess it is a right balance out of the box, and the lightness of it gives you more capacity for the weight of your stuff. So far I'm pretty happy with it and hope it last a very long time, but for only like $11, I couldn't go wrong with it no matter what. 🙂👍. I have no complaints regarding this product. It was very easy to assemble, it hung over my door quite easily and it is serving its purpose well. It disassembles just as easily for service, and I love that about it too. My door was not quite thick enough, so I taped several bits of paper under the vertical supports up against the door so that it would fit properly. I use it as a rack to hang my drying clothes in my small apartment. Works great for that purpose. Looks as good as new. It is of excellent quality and I would buy it again if I needed one. Read more
