I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years. Recently I started trying to find a castile soap that I can use on my face that is gentle, nourishing, and will still clean my face. This is it. This is the 4th bottle of castile soap from different companies I have bought off Amazon to find one that fits my needs. This is it. Here's why: 1) it already has Argan, Jojoba, Hemp, Almond oils, and Prickly Pear. All skin-loving ingredients. 2) it's thin, so if I want to add some thicker oils such as Castor, it will hold it without having to add anything to thin it out. 3) I can tell this company cares about their customers a great deal to do all the research on what ingredients will give us the most benefits. Many of these oils are costly. 4) There are 9 recipes on the jug and also an e-book to download for more tips on how to use this product. 5) A little goes a long way. I used maybe a half teaspoon in the shower and used it for face and body. 6) it lathers nicely. The one thing I would say is a con is that there is a scent to it and not a very pleasant one. I think it is because all of these oils are blended in and they can sometimes carry a scent of their own. I will have to figure out what I can use to balance out the scent to make it more "unscented" for my customers. Thank you, Wholenaturals. You just made my job so much easier! Read more
Castile Soap can be used for countless things. I wash clothes with it, clean with it, and use it as a constitute to mix with neem oil to maintain the health of my plants. The uses are endless. Shelf life is long and it will last longer with it being concentrated. It takes very little to be effective. I keep Castile soap like I do baking soda. It’s a staple for my house. It’s unscented, and I prefer that, and it rinses clean. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry but soft, and supple. The great thing about this brand is that it doesn’t contain palm oil.
