I over research things. I hate having too many options. After “looking” on Amazon for a couple of days I decided on this little gem. What makes this a gem? 1. The carry case. It fits well, not crammed in. 2. The trigger for the nozzle. Easy start and stop 3. The EXTERNAL water pickup tube. I wasn’t sure about this at first, but it’s a win. You’ll go through more water than you think. A small 1.2 liter tank just isn’t big enough. I used a gallon water jug. So much better. So much bigger 4. QUALITY hose. The hose on this guy is quality insulated and wrapped. Unlike any others I looked at. Cons to the machine: Nothing really stands out. You do have to get used to the stopping of steam after you use the trigger to stop the flow. You’re waiting for the steam in the lie to escape. If you let it sit idle for several minutes the tube cools and you get a stream of water before steam. If you expect instant steam you don’t understand the science. Tips for use: Use a large water container, like 1-2.5 gal. Make sure it has a small opening though. It helps keep the pickup tube in. I got the best results when I used the machine to “steam heat” the water in my water container to HOT. The preheating gave me some serious steam power. The user manual actually recommended this if the ambient temp was cooler. I DID buy the 3 year protection plan just in case. This doesn't do miracles. We've realized that we sometimes still need a cleanser or a chemical. And it would be nice to have a little more pressure sometimes, but this isn't a pressure washer. It puts out hot steam, and with some pressure that's usually sufficient. Some have said it's not as hot as they expected. That's not our experience. It's hot. And with the included brushes, it does a good job. We've used it on the stove with just the steam and its brush and it cleaned better than our previous method. So, I'm not sure I understand the negative reviews. We expected a steam cleaner and that's what this is. Read more

On the first go, the water shot out in the form of a stream before steam did. Note that it takes about a minute or two before steam comes out. Other than that, the attachments worked as described. It does a really good job of keeping the steam concentrated versus dispersed. Read more
