My wife wore these boots for this review. They look really nice on her. These boots are great for women with larger calves. My wife's calves are more muscular and not as wide so she wishes they fit just a little bit tighter for more stability. Her mom has wide calves though and she would really appreciate wide boots like these. The soles are impressively designed with a great anti-skid design. They were packaged extremely well and came with instep inserts. They look high-end. Even the box was well-made with a vent hole to keep them from collecting too much moisture. She says they do make your legs warm and sweat which would be great in colder climates. This is a really nice pair of tall boots. The are really well made and seem durable. The stitching is really nicely done. There aren't any loose threads, and the details on the sides looks great. I love the way the boots look. The color is more gray than purple. However, the hint of purple on the boots really give them a nice look. I also think the darker toes that blend in with the areas of black look amazing. The soles have a texture that helps prevent against slipping. There are also straps on the sides that help get them on. The boots are true to size and surprisingly comfortable to wear. There is enough room at the top for wider calves. They were a little snug on me, but they still felt really nice. The subtle colors help them match well with a lot of different looks. They go great with a skirt or a pair of jeans. I absolutely love these cowgirl boots! They are true to size and are comfortable to wear since the heel isn't super high. I have plenty of room for my toes and they don't feel squished at all while I'm walking around. I have wide calves and the opening of the boots wasn't quite wide enough to go all the way up where they need to be. My calves are about 16-17" round so if your calves are 15" or under they should fit your calves just fine. I'm in the process of losing some weight so hopefully they will fit my calves better soon. The boots are really cute and very well made. The color is very nice, it says green but they look more like a distressed gray to me. The material isn't real leather which i like because that means they aren't stiff and uncomfortable. Although they aren't real leather they still look and feel durable. Overall these are very nice boots, they are comfortable and the shoe size is pretty much spot on. The heel isn't super high but they still add a couple of inches which is nice since I'm short lol. I love these boots! They fit perfectly and are very comfortable, even after several hours of wear. The boots are crafted from man-made material, which is a lovely, soft and durable. As a vegan, obviously I don't wear leather, so these are perfect. The only thing that is a little weird, is the color. I mean its ok, but, for instance, I got the boots in "green", however I would not call the color that they actually are...well, I wouldn't exactly call it green.
