This was purchased for use on outdoor sting lighting. Although not stated for outdoor use, the outlet is under cover and shielded from the weather totally. They are led, so there is minimal current draw. This switch sits up on the counter near a window overlooking the covered patio. A simple press of the switch activates the lights and activates the red LED on the plug. So simple and convenient, and the signal goes through our concrete construction home with no issues. I have not mounted it, and just use it solo of the panel. I can already think of many uses for a switch like this and will likely be buying more! Read more
