This was purchased for use on outdoor sting lighting. Although not stated for outdoor use, the outlet is under cover and shielded from the weather totally. They are led, so there is minimal current draw. This switch sits up on the counter near a window overlooking the covered patio. A simple press of the switch activates the lights and activates the red LED on the plug. So simple and convenient, and the signal goes through our concrete construction home with no issues. I used this for a hot water circulation pump. Plug it in, plug the pump into it, and put the switch on the wall near the shower. Push it on about 10 minutes before and voilà, instant hot water for your shower. Push it off when you’re done. Only downside is it would be nice to have an indicator that tells you when it’s on so you don’t forget to shut it off. Read more
I ordered the set with two remotes and two outlets. I wasn't sure from the description if I could use them together or not. They do not come set up. Has a complete set, but there are clear instructions on how to pair the set. So we were able to have both remotes work both outlets simultaneously. We now have two lights plugged into the outlets and have a switch at each of the two doors exiting the room. Very convenient. Read more

I can now turn off bedroom lights from my nightstand so I don’t have to stumble to bed in the dark and turn on a light in the house from the garage so I don’t have to fumble around for a light switch when I enter the house at night.
