Such a cool device, but not very easy to use. I can use it to see down in my ear, but as far as cleaning my ear, it doesn’t really work that well. It’s still awesome to be able to see all the wax in your ear so it’s a pretty cool device and I would say it’s worth the money just for that. Read more
I have waxy ears and I find it to be so embarrassing. My AirPods constantly need to be cleaned because of the wax. I don't dare let anyone see them when I remove them from my ears. My ears are often incredibly itchy, as well. I try to clean them with cotton swabs, but it results in compacting the wax, which reduces my hearing. I saw this camera tool and wondered if it would help me clear the wax. The device came charged and ready to use. Setup was super easy. I downloaded the app using the QR code in the instructions. The instructions informed me that the app is 100% free and warned me not to click on any ads within the app. Sure enough, two ads popped up. The ads take up most of the screen. At the very top right of the screen, there is a link to click to go to the app. That is what you want to click, not the button on the ad. Getting connected is as simple as selecting the device's WiFi on my phone and returning to the app to view the camera. It was so cool seeing inside my ear canal. Hello ear hair and wax. Yuck! It only took me a few minutes to remove the wax from my ears. I was able to get all the wax I could see out of one ear and most of the wax in the other ear. I was afraid to push the camera tool too far so a tiny amount of wax remained because I felt it was out of safe reach. Better safe than sorry. I will be using this incredibly effective tool on a regular basis to maintain the cleanliness of my ears. I can't believe it was priced at only $14.99. I would certainly be willing to pay more for such a useful tool. It feels like a quality piece of equipment. It comes with a USB-C cable for charging, an 8-piece set of metal ear cleaning tools, a cleaning brush, and a container of silicone tips. I was able to simply wipe the silicone tip clean and sanitize it after use. I don't feel the need to replace it each time I use the device. I would feel differently if this device was being shared with another person. My ears feel really clean after removing the wax with the camera tool. I also tried the manual ear cleaning tools but there was hardly any wax left for them to capture. I feel like the camera tool is more than sufficient at removing the wax so I likely won't use the manual tools. I'm so happy that the itching in my ears is gone. I can use my AirPods now with no wax getting on them. I will be using this tool frequently and hope to never suffer from wax build-up and itching in my ears again. I love it so much that I will be getting one for my husband and kids. I know we could all use this one, but much like a toothbrush, I don't want to share something that we use to clean any part of our bodies. Read more
This tool is interesting and the camera produces a clear enough image to see what you’re doing. The resolution feels on par with other small inspection cameras I’ve tried, though motion can cause a little blur if you move quickly. The LED lighting helps brighten the view, but the color can shift slightly depending on how close you are to the surface. Setup isn’t intuitive, you have to download an app that connects over WiFi rather than Bluetooth. The connection worked without major drops once it was set up, but the app has no real instructions, so it’s a lot of trial and error. Saving images or videos isn’t straightforward either. They didn’t go directly into my camera roll, so I had to manually save them to cloud storage first. The silicone tips are comfortable and easy to clean with soap and water. The lens and body can only be wiped down with a damp cloth, which works fine but means you have to be careful not to get the camera end wet. Battery life was fine for short sessions over several days without recharging, but the overall experience was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t buy it again. Read more

I recieved this Ear Cleaner Camera through Amazon Vine for free. This is an interesting piece of technology. Also it is weird looking at your own anatomy, well the parts you don't normally see. There is a large debate if earwax is healthy and if humans should remove it. Well I know this and still like my ears clean. This product seems to do a good job, but the setup was a little more complicated than I thought. As with anything, be careful and work slowly when using this in your ear. Since you are looking at a camera feed, you need to pay extra attention to what your hand is doing and what you are seeing. I guess I have more of a dry ear wax, so I do not need to use this often. I also still prefer cotton swabs (officially do not use these in your ears) after showers when I am trying to dry out my ear canals. I can see how this technology could be great for those with extremely waxy ears, but for me I probably didn't need it. I will keep it for its secondary use of inspecting my ear when I have ear aches. I have three of these cameras. One I bought as an (unopened) Amazon return so I wasn't expecting much out of that one. I then bought another one myself, picked out because I thought it was much higher quality. But this one that I picked up as a "travel" one (I always take one with me now!) will become my main one. I expected this to be not very good for its cost, but it's a great value compared to my other one. AND this one comes with a cap, which normally would be better for my travel pack, but too bad because I like this one too much. But the cap does make it very protected when bringing it around with you! The video on this is much better than my other two, it's very clear and well lit. The camera angle IS slightly different than my other two (I would call it "lower" or "flatter" if that makes sense), but all that will take is some getting used to. This makes it very easy to clean out your nose oops I mean ears. I personally have to mirror the camera for my brain to make sense of the movements, but then it's really easy for me to use. It also came with a lot of replacement blue tips which makes it MUCH more comfortable when you're digging around. I lost a blue tip once and it was a bit painful until I got a new one. Read more
