This dress is a really nice material. It’s thick but it too thick that it wi make you got. It has pockets on each side. It’s a fun summer style dress that would be a comfortable item to throw on the day or at the beach. Could also be dressed up a bit with different shoes and handbag. On me, it fits a bit big. I ordered a size small In black. It seems a bit bigger than a normal size small but maybe that’s the style of this particular dress. I love maxi dresses, and the pattern on this one was so fun and tropical. The fabric is soft and feels like a high quality, and the material is also a little stretchy. There are pockets, which is great! But for me, they sit right on my hips, and the extra fabric there makes the dress shape unflattering on me. It's also a little looser in the waist, and because of the way it hangs on my body, it makes me look more rectangle-shaped than hourglass-shaped. If I were to size down I'm afraid the pockets would be even higher up and the dress wouldn't be long enough for me anymore. I think this would be great on someone who is a little shorter than me (I am 5'7"), but for me it's not a good fit. Read more

By most size charts, I am a medium but I like my clothes roomy so I ordered this in size large. It fits comfortably loosely as I'd expect. A size medium would probably have been fine too, so I'd rate this as fitting true to size. The pattern is called "Romantic Pink Floral" but I'd consider this more of a paisley print. The fabric is a satiny light weight material. For me, the arm holes hang a bit low, but again I ordered a size larger than indicated. The length is just to the top of my feet; I'd expect a size medium to fall just to the ankle as shown in the listing photos. And lest I neglect to mention the nice deep pockets!
