I just installed them several days ago in my hallway. So far they’re working perfectly. I’m not sure how long it will be before I have to recharge them, but at least the cord that is included will allow me to recharge three at a time. I’m told it will only take two hours and that it should last for two months. We’ll have to see about that. Read more

These little lights are very cute and a bit smaller than I expected, which actually works out because it means they have a low profile and are not bulky and obvious like a lot of other lights. Because they’re so compact, they won’t light up a large area, so for stairs or hallways you’ll probably want to place them lower to the ground compared to larger night lights. I’m planning to use them under my kitchen cabinets to give a little light on the counter at night if I need to grab something in the dark. I tested them first on the bottom of the shelves in my bathroom, which is what you see in one of the pictures I posted, and since those shelves are fairly close together, they worked great there. I don’t think they’ll light my kitchen counters quite as much, simply because the distance from the bottom of the cabinet to the countertop is larger, but they should still provide helpful ambient light. In my opinion, the white and soft white settings give off the most light, so those would be best for practical areas like stairs or hallways. The RGB colors are fun if you want a little mood lighting, and they’re easy to switch between. My favorite feature is that they’re rechargeable, so you don’t have to constantly replace batteries. I also like that they’re very low profile and not bulky or obvious once installed. The motion sensor works well—the lights turned off after about 15–20 seconds of no motion and came back on when I was within a couple of feet. You can also switch them to always-on mode which comes on at night if you want the light to stay on instead of using motion detection. I haven’t had them long enough to know exactly how long the charge lasts, but according to the description they can last quite a while in motion sensor mode, and it’s convenient that you can charge multiple lights at once with the included cable. Installation is simple with the magnetic backing or adhesive plate, and it’s easy to remove them for charging. It’s also reassuring that they come with a 12-month warranty, so if there are any issues down the line, you’re covered. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I posted a quick video and some pics to show you what my first two lights look like. Here are my observations to hopefully help you decide what will work for you: Positives: 1)FAST charging 2) Very good motion sensing/ fast turn on (angle of motion is 120 degrees) 3) Super strong sticky attachment to wall - if that's what you want. Also adheres directly to metal. 4) Multiple color options is a surprisingly cool and well done feature. I thought I just wanted warm white but like the soft hues from other colors too. Considerations: 1) Need multiple standard USB ports to charge all 6 at once 2) I initially planned to install these on the opposite side of my staircase so they wouldn't be seen by people entering the house. I realized if I did that, the open charging port would be visible to anyone coming up. Just be sure to consider that before placing them. 3) I wasn't expecting the sticky side of the magnet to be so incredibly strong when I didn't even push down hard on it to attach it to the wall. Once I stepped back to take a look at my placement, I wanted to move one. Nope - the sticky magnet thing on the wall immediately started to rip my (new) paint off of the wall. My mistake so if I could start over I would try using command strips instead. Or maybe place them on the woodwork/trim and not the wall. They are very functional and effective, but honestly are not something very nice to look at on a main staircase like the wired stairway lighting can be. I will try the other 4 in a hallway and my basement stairs because I do love how they work and they nailed the warm White color. The fast charging is another huge benefit. Hope this helps! I love these motion sensor night lights. I placed them all over the house and not just on the stairway. My favorite use is on the outside of my front loader washing machine so that I can see when I’m loading the washer and what the settings are as they are not illuminated. I put one on the top of the washer display and it shines down into the washer so that I can see what’s going on in there. This is not a waterproof item so watch where you put it. You can’t put it in the washer, of course. Personally, I don’t have a need for the 6-color changing feature since I really just want the warm white and it is possible to just have that without the color. They recharge using the USB-C cord and there are no physical batteries. Included in the package is a three-in-one USB-C cord. This means that you can charge three of them at the same time and only be using one USB connection to do so. That is a great convenience and I can also use that cord for other things. I’m finding that they stay charged for a long time but of course that will depend on how often you trigger them since they are motion activated. So I just make it a habit to plug them in periodically so that I always have light in the dark and hallways, closet, pantry, and anywhere else that I want to make sure I’m not tripping over the dog. They’re easily triggered by motion. That’s a good thing! This pack of six lets me put them wherever I need them. In fact, I may end up ordering another set of them because they are so easily attached to the wall, using magnets and detaching for recharging. They are so simple to use and I am totally addicted to having them. Read more
