I ordered two pairs of these for my mom and they are very soft. I love that they have pockets and are a nice easy fit. The sizing runs a little small in my opinion, but isn't horrible. I washed and dried them before giving them to her and the length on them shrunk up noticeably, at least a full inch or more, so if length is an issue then I take that into consideration.
