These winter snow boots are quite cute. They’re a low bootie that’s lined with soft cozy faux fur. I like that they’re easy to get on and off unlike some that give you a complete workout to just pull off your foot. Although, I don’t see these as heavy duty snow boots in my area but think they’ll provide sufficient warmth in cold weather that doesn’t have deep snow. I live in Michigan and these wouldn’t be my snowman building go to boots but will work well when out and about for errands. Unfortunately, I do think there could be issue with the design letting snow and wetness in the sides. Although the side closure helps with ease getting them off and on, it may hinder staying dry if you step in deep snow. Comfort wise, is just okay since there isn’t a ton of support. I’ll be adding an insert to help with that to provide more comfort. Overall, these are decent quality for the price and look great with leggings, but may be geared more toward a mild winter climate. I got these boots in navy, in my normal size of 10. What a find. I tried them on with a thin pair of socks, and the fit is great. There is plenty of room for heavier socks. I have skinny little ankles and as the buckle on the side is a Velcro type closure, it’s adjustable and will accommodate leggings or leg warmers, or whatever I choose to wear. The faux fur trim continues into the boot and covers the entire inside. Although I found these extremely comfortable, there is no padding of any sort on the inside bottom, or insoles, but the cut of the boot could easily accommodate a padded or memory foam insole insert if I chose to add one. The height on the back of the boot, from the floor to the top of the fur measures 7”. The outer fabric of the boot, feels like nylon, is padded, and should, hopefully, provide a water-proof wearing experience, which will be especially helpful here in the north. A quick spray with a silicone waterproof spray may be necessary if I find out the waterproof material is lacking. We’ll see on that, no biggy. The soles feel like a rubbery, sturdy plastic material which appear durable, and may be glued on, as I can’t find any stitching. There is nice heavy tread on the bottom, for anti-slip properties. These are lightweight. All in all, these are great boots for me to run errands, in and out of stores, etc., in the rainy fall and mild winter days. Are they Arctic weather, sub-zero boots..probably not…But for me, these are great..they’re cute, fashionable, fit great, comfortable, can accommodate a thick pair of heavy socks, anti-slip, and the ankles are adjustable.
