I needed a new sink caddy as the one I had (similar black wired style) turned to junk-it rusted, the poor design made it difficult to hold straw brushes, and the removable water tray (plastic) had to be cleaned regularly of the gunk it collected (understandable even with softened water but it was still gross and unsightly). I knew I wanted either a water tray that tilted to drain or a stone bottom. I leaned more towards the stone bottoms not only to absorb water but having a solid bottom would help hold straw and slimmer brushes and prevent them from falling through and getting caught. I went with this caddy for that main reason and I couldn’t be happier. It fixes our water collection and brush holding issues, the two stone slabs can easily be removed to clean, the separate hanging compartment for brushes is genius, the main tray area is large enough to fit our bottle of dish soap and bottle of hand soap plus a veggie scrub brush, the slim front compartment is perfect for the sink drain plug and a stainless steel scrubber, and the scrub daddy holder is just 😚🤌🏼. I was worried about no rubber on the bottom causing slippage or rust so I ordered some small rubber bottoms to wrap around the feet, but honestly it wasn’t moving without them. Why did you pick this product vs others?: It’s the perfect pink. Organization: Really tidies up the sink. Functionality: The stone is supposed to dry without marks but that doesn’t always happen. Be careful as it is by a sink where you are cleaning up grease and food and water isn’t the only thing that may splash on this. Sturdy enough. Read more

I like the look of this thing, I like that it has a little section for the things I want to store a little more vertically, and I like the drying stone feature. The two main reasons I got this was (1) for the side section that allows me to store my scrubbers upright and take up less space and look less messy; and (2) the whole unit is up off the counter a bit, so not constantly sitting in a puddle by the sink. What I was replacing was a rubber tray, which was nice enough, but since it sat directly on the counter and wetness happens, it would get kind of gross under it so I always had to put a paper towel in between, and it just didn't look as nice. I will say the stone was hard to get into the place where it sits. I think the unit was slightly out of square, so I had to shove a bit to get the stone in place, but ultimately it worked.
