Review for Wired RGB Gaming Membrance Keyboard (WB1): I think it is rather ironic that I am typing this review from the very device I am reviewing! Yes, I decided to take this rather inexpensive keyboard for a test drive. Just so you are familiar with my background, I do a lot of typing and my regular keyboard is a Durgod K320. Appearance why, I think it is beautiful. It has a backlit keyboard, which at this price ranger is rather amazing. I like its compact frame and that it hooks up via USBC. This 65% keyboard keeps the F keys, del, home, but of course I could wish for pg up and down. The construction, as you would expect, is plastic. There are surprisingly no back height adjustment legs. It’s one height. The keycaps are inexpensive plastic, but they do feel good. The typing sound reminds me of Cherry Red Switches (or I assume, I use Brown) as it is minimal and quiet. The keys do feel quite mushy, and they travel farther than my usual keyboard. Typing does feel labored, but perhaps I am not used to it yet. The response is good, and I appreciate there’s not a separate app to download to adjust the RGB colors. I do have two complaints which are relatively minor. I don’t like how the shift bar is smaller on the right side than the left; I wish it were full size as it is easy to miss. Like the first, I don’t love the placement of the enter key. I, personally, could live without the arrow keys. No extras like wireless or USB ports, but that won’t matter for everyone. Overall, I rate this keyboard 8/10. While that may seem high, there’s quite a few features, the typing is good, and it’s very, very inexpensive so a lot of keyboard for what you end up paying. Read more

This keyboard does work as the seller stated that it would. I was looking for a replacement keyboard, and I figured that a gaming would keep up with all the typing that I do and this did keep up with me, but the space bar being off centered drove me nuts. My son used my computer one day and he fell in love with this keyboard. It was easy to use, the colors are nice and the brightness is not super bright so it is still easy to use in the day or night. The keyboard quality is good, I personally used it for about a month before my son took it over and he has been using it for about 2 months now with out any issues. The keyboard does feel plastic but not to the point that it feels super cheap, so with that being said I do feel the price at the time of this review is a fair price. Read more

My son is a serious gamer and takes his computer equipment very seriously (1st world problems). He has used other quiet keyboards that he refers to as "creamy", but this one must be extra creamy because it is softer and quieter than all of his others, and he's used A LOT. He is extremely picky when it comes to his gaming equipment and typically spends good money on the name brands. He wanted this one as a backup, but was so surprised by the quality when he received it, that he ended up using it as his main. It's responsive and has the qualities he likes in a gaming keyboard. It gets rave reviews from a very experienced Gen Z gamer, so I have to say I highly recommend this keyboard, especially if you are wanting the softer, less clackity, quieter, "creamy" keys. It's a great value. It rivals, and even surpasses, others much higher in price. The only thing he doesn't love are the shape of the key caps, they are more rounded and he prefers the way the square ones feel. He can easily swap those though, as he really likes the switches. Quality-wise, this keyboard is okay, but I like that it’s pretty silent, which makes it perfect for work offices or a home study. The 65% compact size saves space on my desk, and the RGB backlighting gives it a nice look without being too bright. The keys feel fine to type on, though they’re not high-end, and the build is lightweight. Overall, for a budget keyboard, it’s a decent choice if you need a quiet, space-saving keyboard for everyday use. Read more

This compact 65% membrane keyboard comes with a wired connection, RGB lighting effects, and a small footprint that makes it easy to carry or fit into tight desk setups. The keys feel smooth and responsive enough for general typing, (they are not tactile or "clicky", which makes them suitable for late night situations where you want to keep the clicking sound to a minimum. While the layout is functional for basic tasks, the overall design has some limitations that make it less appealing for adults seeking a practical everyday keyboard. The RGB lighting is flashy, with multiple strobing and flickering modes, but it feels more like a novelty for kids than a serious backlighting solution. Since the keycaps themselves are opaque and the letters are not cut out, the light only glows from underneath the keys, making it somewhat ineffective for typing in low-light environments. Those who need dual-language keycap printing will also be disappointed, as the centered single-language lettering leaves no room for a secondary layout. Additionally, the keyboard is noticeably thick compared to most compact or standard options, which may be uncomfortable without a wrist rest. There are also no foldable legs to raise the keyboard if someone needs it to sit at an even steeper angle than it is currently. At this price point, the build quality and lighting effects may entertain younger users or serve as a temporary backup keyboard, but it’s not the best value for someone needing a reliable, well-lit daily (and nightly) driver. Pros: - Compact 65% layout saves desk space - Smooth, quiet membrane key feel - Multiple RGB modes for decorative effect - Wired connection for stable input Cons: - RGB lighting is flashy but not functional for low light typing - Keys do not illuminate, only the base does - Not suitable for dual-language key layouts - Thicker profile than most keyboards, less ergonomic - Feels more like a novelty than a serious typing tool Why 3 out of 5 star rating? While functional for basic use, the ineffective backlighting, lack of dual-language compatibility, and bulky design limit its appeal. It may suit a child or casual user who enjoys RGB effects, but it’s not a great choice for productivity or professional gaming setups. Read more
