Great mouse, with two minor caveats
This mouse can work either a native Bluetooth or with the supplied USB dongle. Wanting to keep a USB port open on my MacBook, I use it in native Bluetooth mode. When I first connected it, it showed up on my computer as "BT5.2". That worked, but was a little quirky. I tried the dongle and that was less quirky, but I really wanted to have that USB port available so I went back to Bluetooth mode. A few days later, my MacBook re-recognized it as "BT3.0". (So now both designations are available in my settings.) That works vastly better. It functions perfectly, like a normal mouse. With two relatively minor exceptions. 1) I have to keep the settings window open at all times or the computer stops recognizing the existence of the mouse. That could just be a macOS Catalina (10.15.7) issue and not really related to the mouse at all. 2) If the mouse sits unused for around 5 minutes, it goes into hibernation mode to conserve power. When that happens, it disconnects from the computer. When I move or click the mouse, it reactivates but that process takes about 10-15 seconds. Otherwise, I can find no faults with this mouse. It has a really nice size and feel for my hand. The color-changing light display can't be turned off or controlled, but I don't mind it. Read more
