Buying an inexpensive keyboard is always a mixed bag in terms of quality. Not the case with this one! It feels sturdy and well constructed compared to any other low cost keyboard. The brown switches are pretty smooth, although I’m not an expert or keyboard snob in general, I love the clack they make. There doesn’t seem to be any more slop / wiggle than any other keyboard I’ve used, but can only speak to the brown switches. I have a few other mechanical keyboards ranging in style and price - and this one matches them all in terms of quality and functionality. The fact that there are 3 methods of connecting is a major bonus for me, and although there is the option to remember multiple Bluetooth connections, you could probably use that as a way to use it on multiple machines as well. The size is about what I expected for how many keys there are, and how “chunky” the keyboard appears. It’s also got that somewhat retro vibe with the brown, light brown, off white color combo. As far as weight is concerned, I’d say it’s about as heavy as it needs to be. Sure it could be lighter, but at what cost? It’s a comfy, clunky, hunk of nostalgia that gets the job done. I haven’t had any need to remove the key caps or desire to mess with the switches at all but the keyboard does include a little tong key grabber thing. As far as interchangeable caps, compatibility, etc. I can’t comment. Variation: brown combo / brown switches. Usage: keyboard of choice for home office when not at my desk, I.e. working from the couch in office / bed OS: windows and Linux Read more

I was looking for something on the cheaper side that still satiated my sound satisfaction when typing. The brown switches on this keyboard are very soothing and not at all too loud nor too quiet. I prefer the MOA profile keycaps so its great that they're easily removable. For extra measure I checked if its hot swappable, in case you want to change the switches for clicky, creamy, thocky, etc switches, and it is! The RGB is perfectly bright where it's not blinding at night, but still visible during the day and has loads of different modes. Other reviews are correct that the instructions aren't very clear, and leave out a lot of important details for the keyboard functionality, but if you take some time to play around with it, you'll figure out the settings pretty quickly. I use the bluetooth setting for my laptop and the toggle for my pc. All in all, this is such a great keyboard for the price and its made of good quality. It's hefty and seems to have an aluminum slide before the base to add to its integrity. Read more

I just upgraded from a boring keyboard I got at Staples to this one, and I'm loving it. I love the feel of the keys when you press them, and I actually kind of like that you basically have to have good typing posture to use this keyboard effectively. It's really encouraged me to fix some bad habits I was allowing to crop up over time. I love the backlighting, though I feel like it's a bit of a gimmick. I'm not looking down when I I type, so I don't see the backlighting much at all. I've not needed to use the multiple Bluetooth connections at all, but I could see how that would be useful. My only REAL complaint is that you must use a Bluetooth connection. The wire is purely for charging. The only thing I'll warn about is the sound it makes when you type. Having never owned a mechanical keyboard before, I did not realize how loud they are. This might make me have to take it home for personal use, as I'm afraid it's a bit too noisy for the office and I don't want to disturb my neighbors. Otherwise if you're wanting something that's not a boring black keyboard with personality, I would definitely suggest this one! Read more

I’m using this keyboard to write this review on my iPhone 13! I really needed to know if this would connect to my iPhone when I made the purchase, so I wanted to confirm this first for anyone else with the same question :)!!! (I was able to connect this to my iPhone and use it within minutes of opening the box.) I just opened the box, so this is how it’s functioning brand-new. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD. It hits probably every specific thing I wanted in a keyboard! There are a multitude of small unserious keyboards for the iPad or iPhone. However, I NEEDED a keyboard that was 1. Mechanical, 2. Had a separate d-pad and number pad, 3. Was as much a full-size keyboard as possible. This keyboard does exactly all that and even lights up!!! I often work in the dark, so this was unexpectedly useful (at first I just thought it was cool, lol) as I don’t have to turn on the room light to type. The keys are also very ergonomic; they have the perfect curve to each surface and almost addicting amount of responsive pushback when you type. I LOVE the classic look of this keyboard and extremely cute coloring as well! I have memories of using a model M keyboard as a small child and this keyboard was maybe the closest I’ve used to one since then. Modern keyboards have always felt lacking to me, and were more difficult for me to use. One last thing is that the keyboard is EXTREMELY light and portable! It feels like something this light should be cheaply built, but this is absolutely a quality product I’d buy again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for finally making the product I’ve been waiting decades to use! Read more

I love this keyboard! It feels great and the quality is on point. The weight of the keys is nice, but it's a little loud when I type. It functions as described. Please let me know if you found this review helpful. Read more
