I have never used an actual Nintendo Pro controller, but for $80. I was looking for something a bit cheaper. For the $30 I paid here, it works great. It feels comfortable, the button layout is good, and the buttons are nice and punchy. They are not stiff and don't take excessive force to push, but not soft enough to question if you are providing input. All the buttons have been responsive for the 10 or so hours I have used it. The main thing I wanted was bottom buttons. I personally like mapping A and B to the handles for jumping/sliding/ducking actions (and since I play FPS games with southpaw controls). The locations of those buttons are little too far up on the handle, but they are still reachable. Could be better for better finger tip access. I'm not sure if this is the controller or the game I have played with it, but the there does feel to be some excessive dead zone in the sticks. Specifically in Metroid Prime 4. Not awful, but noticeable. I have not had any connection issues. It connects to my Switch every time. My original Joycons (still from 2017) were drifting and randomly disconnecting. Thus, the need for something better. Size-wise, I have small-ish hands and it feels ideal. Way better than Joycons, which were designed to fit a 2 year old's hands. All that said, I have only used this controller with Metroid Prime 4, so I can't speak for different style games like Smash Bros or something. Overall, a good option for a Switch Pro controller. Does it feel cheap? A little. It doesn't have heft to it like my Xbox Elite 2 controller (I wish I could just use that for the Switch), but it works just fine and does what I need it to do. Read more

These controllers are awesome. WAYYYYY cheaper than the ones nintendo sells. The controller is a dramatic upgrade to the half-controllers that you get when you split up the stock controllers. I bought 2 initially and then bought 2 more because they were so good so my family could all play Smash Brothers together. The smaller half-controller are good for my 5 year old though because these controllers are a bit too big for his little hands. Read more

This is hands down the best controller we own for our Nintendo's. a detail that the other controllers often miss is that kids are ... not smart. They push the buttons all the time in the back and disconnect controllers. This controller does not have this issue. The kids fight over getting this controller because it doesn't disconnect (which by the way is not the controllers fault) but yea... all the other controllers with disconnect/connect buttons that are easy to push are a major downside to playing with kids. First time buying a generic controller, it's a pretty functional controller, easy to setup, decent battery life (I have played for about 4-5 hours non-stop), I bought it mainly to play TotK on docked mode and the programmable buttons are quite helpful for weapon changes and the sprint button, it gives extra comfort for the repetitive tasks. No 5 stars because the d-pad is clunky and it can trigger the wrong action if you don't press hardly enough, also, the controller will power off if idle for 5 minutes and that's not configurable. Great controller! Works perfectly, great battery life! This saved me a ton of money over licensed controllers with less features! Read more

Works well, vibrates correctly, not awkward to hold. Good texture and quality. Though sometimes the left joystick will over correct and move me more in a direction then I intended to go. But that only happens occasionally and doesn’t affect the product in any obnoxious way Good Product Read more

You can put a series of codes on the controller and it will spam games like Pokemon where you have to blink in and out to get shinies. The turbo works great, perfect size and comfortability. Good quality and grip! Easy to use! Read more

The vibrations are much stronger than the official Nintendo Pro controller, which is quite nice. However, I have to remove a star because the response time after pressing a button is very slightly delayed when compared to the OG controller. I didn't ever have a problem catching fish in Animal Crossing until I began using this controller - and now I consistently miss over half of the fish I try to catch because apparently I'm not "setting the hook" fast enough. Catching a Tuna will never happen with this controller due to the insanely quick timing required to catch it. This is not going to be a problem with the majority of games out there, but the extra millisecond response time is an issue for ACNH. The turbo button is amazing though. Makes swimming around much much more enjoyable! Read more
