Sturdy if you mount it well. I used real Molly bolts.
This stand got our new PS5 up out of the desktop clutter and dust. I was concerned that the mounting holes were not closer to the top but they are fine. I took care to locate one of the three mount hols exactly over a wall stud and used my own screw on that. For the other two holes I used real molly expansion bolts very carefully placed for a level mount. Since I mounted it very well this shelf is plenty sturdy enough to have no worry of the PS5 falling. The fans kick in and out automatically when the PS5 is in use. The fans are a little loud but it's fine. We don't use the controller chargers because excited young gamers can be rough. So we use a separate controller charger sitting on the desktop. Read more

Just not good enough for what should be a simple product.
I'll start off with I want to like this product, but there's just enough hangups that you probably want to go with another. Wall mount portion is solid and good enough. Decent steel on the brackets, decent plastics. First issue: The charging stand is VERY loose to attach to the bracket. We ended up using some museam wax to secure it better. 2nd issue: Same with the docks for the controllers, it seems they could very much use an improvement as the controllers are difficult to mount to the docks, and feel quite flimsy even when installed. Charging works ok. Biggest gripe: the USB pass through is just not well designed for the PS5 at all. Every time the PS5 wakes, goes to sleep, powers off at all, the whole system resets, and then resets to have fans at MAX. So any quietness you enjoyed with the PS5 fans will be ruined by the fans in the stand being on MAX all the time. I also will say this is likely not good for the longevity of the PS5 to have max air fans pusshing dust and dirt through the PS5 even when it's not operational. Until these issues are fixed, certainly look for other stands. Read more

THE Original PS5 fit snug close to the all but enough space for the air intake to work as required Did a Console data transfer and place the PS5 Pro on it and fits even better more degree of separation from the wall. The fan are slight load even from behind the tv but that's what speaker volume is for lol. Read more
