The media could not be loaded. While this is a beautiful rug, you should know that it is very thin (hence the washable piece). It's soft, and the design looks nice, but it is not one of those comfy sit on the floor type of are rugs. I use mine in my living room, with my three babies running, playing, and drooling on it. So far, it has been very easy to spot clean (we've survived coffee spills, diaper explosions, and yogurt spills), but it is so large that I just cannot imagine putting it in the washing machine. The rug doesn't do well if you're moving furniture on it, so we picked up the furniture and carefully placed it back down to minimize the rug from scrunching up. Overall, the rug is functional; it doesn't slip as the description says, and jazzes up the space. I would recommend a rug pad underneath for extra cushion, and the rug tape for the corners. This is for my basement cat/exercise area. We recently had a major flood in our city and I had to pull up all the carpet tiles in my kitties' area. I bought this rug as a replacement for them. They loved it immediately; sniffed it and laid out on it the first time back in their area two weeks after the storm, when I got the room back together for them. It is very soft. I don't want or need a thick rug for the basement, just something for them to be comfortable on. If it floods again, I hope to be able to take it to a laundromat and put it in a big washer (I have the 9x12). Since it came in a reasonably sized box, I'm sure it will fit in one of those washers. It laid out pretty flat straight out the box with just a couple creases I'm sure will flatten out soon. Pics are from the day I took it out the box. It is not a rug material I am used to, like what I have in my living room, but for my purposes, it is a very good buy for the price and the pattern is muted and nice looking. I love how soft this WITSHOCK 9×12 rug feels — it’s like walking on a blanket. It laid flat almost immediately (no stubborn curled edges), and the non-slip backing does keep it in place nicely. Visually, it adds a cozy vintage charm to the room. That said — vacuuming it is very frustrating. The pile seems to “grab” the vacuum, making it hard to use anything but a very gentle suction. That makes regular cleaning a pain, especially with dust or debris. If cleanup is a priority, that’s definitely a downside. Pros: Very soft underfoot Lays flat easily Non-slip backing keeps it in place Attractive vintage/boho style Cons: Very difficult to vacuum Might require extra effort (or spot cleaning) between deep cleans Overall, I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. I was honestly shocked by how nice this rug is for the price. I paid around $50 for the 8x10 and it feels soft, plush, and comfortable to walk on. It rolled out easily and settled flat within a day. Beautiful rug - amazing price! I purchased this on a white before many reviews were here, and I am glad I did! I hate spending a lot on rugs with dogs and kids in the home, so for the price I was sold! I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived - comes folded so there are a few creases but they were gone the next day. It’s washable & has rubber backing to keep in place.
