Customers say

Customers find the thermal underwear set wonderfully soft with smooth fabric, and appreciate how it fits well under outer layers without losing its snugness. The product is warm enough for summer nights and provides good insulation, while being thin enough to wear under jeans. Customers like the bamboo fabric and quality, with one customer noting it's ideal for daily use. Opinions about sizing are mixed, with some fi

Super-SOFT, but READ this before consulting Size Chart

Dances4FunDecember 31, 2020

Wow -these are SO INCREDIBLY SOFFFFFT!!! They are a slightly thicker gauge of rayon knit than a lot of garments out there, and I think that’s great especially as it enhances the strength/durability particularly of the seat of the pants. Upon receiving the set, I realized that the Size Chart (which is found if you scroll down through the description) basically tells the NON-stretched measurements of the garments. I wanted mine to fit snug like leggings/longjohns, but I ordered too big a size thinking the Chart was indicating what proportions the garments would comfortably stretch TO. I’m 5’3”, 147lb, 42” bust, 34” waist, 41” hips and typically wear size 10 or 12 pants/jeans & size 14 top. The XL bamboo set is too loose (it’s Not having to stretch across me anywhere). I’m going to return them & order the M or L. They feel so very soft - wish they were offered in some rich jewel tones. And seller could eliminate a lot if frustrations over fittings by clarifying that the measurements on chart are UNstretched. Follow-up: The sizes M & L arrived today. While the M stretched greatly for a very snug fit without discomfort or seams popping, I’m instead keeping the L which also fits snug. Despite being snug I could slide my open hands into/below waistband and stretch the knit about 6” away from my thighs but it snapped right back once hands were removed. I tried pulling on my tight stretch-jeans over each size & both resisted being drug up my leg as I pulled up the denim. The L may get a little looser over the course of a day, but I don’t foresee it getting baggy. Another reason for keeping the L is to allow for any shrinking (I don’t put rayon/modal/viscose/bamboo in the dryer & I wash w/cold water, but I have had garments if this type fiber shrink from being hung too close to a heat vent to air dry). Earlier I forgot to praise the inclusion of a crotch gusset which minimizes stress on seams in the area, enhances ease of movement, & thus assures longer durability! You may consider my measurements earlier in the review as related to my last descriptions that follow...For my proportions the legs (on sizes M, L, & XL) have at least 3” extra length so I can pull them down over my heels. Sleeves are about 2.5” extra, so I could add thumb holes near the ends if I wanted to. The scoop neck won’t keep neck/chest warm, but it also likely won’t be annoyingly visible if layered under winter outerwear. The waist elastic is 3/4” wide and very accommodating. I didn’t measure XL circumference, but L is 30.5” & M is 28”. Yet even the M didn’t feel squeezy/uncomfortable on my 34” waist (conversely the XL didn’t feel like it was sliding off either). I don’t want to take off the size L which I’m keeping (and wearing as I write this). IF there was a wider color variety available & a price tag about $15 cheaper, I would be buying several more sets. They feel great! Read more

Highly recommend. Have several!

I now have 4 pairs of these and use them as my all seasons sleep wear. Couldn’t be happier! Keeps me warm in winter and cool in summer. It’s magic! They are soft, good quality, and very comfortable. My oldest set is 3 years and gets worn weekly. No holes, tears, loose threads. I’ve been washing and drying in normal cycles. Read more

Perfectly light soft and warm

TerraJanuary 12, 2024

I needed more layers for travel, but I didn’t want bulk and I don’t like scratchy and I get overheated really easy. These were perfect! They are really soft, they breathe well so I stayed comfy and they’re super thin so there was no bulk in the layers. At one point i got too hot while touring around and the undershirt was light enough that I could take it off and roll it into a ball then hide it in my purse. I bought this in pink and gray. I really like both. These are way better than the old-school waffle weave longjohns! They make nice loungy pajamas too. I think I sized up because I didn’t want them tight and they fit just right; long and loose without being too baggy. Read more

Soft and comfy. Color doesn't fade in the wash.

K. R.May 12, 2024

I got these to wear as pajamas as well as for long johns. They are a beautiful purple color that has held up well even after being washed many times (see photo). They are soft and comfy, fitting smoothly without being tight or binding anywhere. According to the size chart, I needed a large or XL, but I usually wear a small, so I got a medium and it fits just right. They are thin enough to wear under my jeans and they don't bunch up under my clothes. The legs stay down when I'm sleeping (I hate when pajama legs ride up at night!). The neckline is wider than I am used to, but I suppose that's to help it hide under your shirt when you wear it as long johns. I was told that bamboo fabric "breathes" and would keep me warm without getting overheated at night. This wasn't true. Some winter nights they were perfect, and other nights I just got too hot when I wore these for pajamas. Read more

Not really underwear or thermal

Cindy MJanuary 4, 2025

These are great- feel soft, quality seems decent, but they are not “thermal” and don’t keep you warm, they’re the opposite- cooling! I also wouldn’t label these as underwater per se, they’re almost closer to pajamas. I don’t know if there’s a translation issue or if it’s misadvertised, but I’d describe is as cooling pajamas. Because let’s be real, if it’s hot and these are cooling, you’re not going to layer these under your clothes. Otherwise, they’re nice and cooling and soft pajamas. Read more

Runs very large

CatherineOctober 15, 2025

Seams are nicely stitched, fabric is very smooth. Versatile for mild weather or for extra layer when it’s chilly. I will use these for my allodynia so I don’t have to get rid of clothing that isn’t smooth enough. Instead I can put this under them. Runs very large. I usually take an extra-large, but take a medium in these. I wash them in a lingerie bag and hang to dry. Bamboo is a delicate fabric and I want them to last. Read more
