Awesome coffee table perfect for small spaces. It's nice that hinges are hidden when the table is closed. The large single panel and full double panel layouts have a good amount of table space, though the smaller single labeled in the product pics as a dining tray is too small to hood a plate, utensils, and glass.. and is probably better for a laptop or plant. The three in-table storage sections are large enough to hold video games, books and clothes. With less space on the side compartments width wise, though more space deeper, due to the lift mechanisms. The under table storage grate is durable and rugged, so it maybe harder on your storaged items, but is easy to rest feet in and has enough room for a bunch of shoes. The lift mechanism is quiet and powerful, though will finish closing down on its own if the top is laden with objects. Be careful not to lift it by pulling from the front/center because the smaller dining tray can wedge objects under the top. Also, the table corners are sharp, though thankfully none of the other mechanisms were pokey or sharp, save the under grating. Side notes: The box comes with plenty of extra parts, the screwdriver is way to long to put the table together comfortably, and grab a flashlight for final steps because it requires some strange standing and screwing angles while working on the inside of the box. Giggidy. The instruction manual is mediocre, as some images lack clarity on panel orientation and screw placement until seen in the following steps. And the warning label is large and over glued to the surface. Consider using a goo remover to take it off without damaging the surface. Overall, for the cost anf quality I'm happy with the purchase, and recommend it. If there was a 4.5 star option I'd choose that. Read more
Very sturdy and nice looking. The instructions weren’t the greatest. It emphasizes the directional installation of certain pieces, but it is very hard to tell what until it’s too late. I had to remove pieces twice. The whole top is on backwards now, but I am not taking it back apart. It functions fine. The little inner shelf is on the back side, but I was not planning on using it anyways. It is heavy and just the right height to use the table from the couch. The box was all beat up, but the contents were well protected. I would recommend a 2 person assembly. One person was pretty hard at times. Read more
We got this because we have a small place and no dinner table. It works very well for two to four people. Pretty easy to put together although I’d recommend having a second person around for a couple of straps. It’s super sturdy, not to big, have good storage and you can even do a puzzle on it. For the price and versatility we give it an A+. I do recommend using a blow dryer to help get that stupid sticker off, and if any gunk is left behind, put some peanut butter on it and rub it around. I've never written an Amazon review but this was one of the few times I've ever taken a chance on a product that didn't have a lot of reviews, so I thought I'd give back! This thing is really sturdy. It is pretty complicated to put together but if you're decent at furniture assembly you won't have problems. Would probably be helpful to have two people but I managed alone. All the holes lined up perfectly, and there were plenty of spare screws of each kind (helpful for someone like me who will inevitably lose a couple). It even came with a handy extra long screwdriver that is needed in a couple of steps. The design of the table isn't my favorite, I don't love the metal and wood look, however it was the perfect size and I couldn't find anything I liked better. It looks just like photos. The hinge mechanism is sturdy and easy to use while not being wobbly. When it's open and the top is unfolded it is a great size table, especially for people in a small space. I'm super excited to have somewhere for people to eat now 😂 Overall this was a great find and I'm super glad I took a chance on it! If you like the design and the size, don't hesitate to buy it! The media could not be loaded. This is the perfect coffee table, and a space saver. I love the engineering skills and craftsmanship. When you open and close it, it works flawlessly. Nothing brushes together, it's just smooth. It was very easy to assemble. It probably took me 25-30 minutes. The directions were easy to follow, and to the point in my opinion. I would definitely recommend it. I know everyone is complaining about the sticker(s), and dropped a star or 2 because of that, but it is a simple fix with a heat gun or hair dryer. This will allow you to melt the adhesive, and make the sticker easy to peel off, and then use something like goo gone to remove the remaining adhesive. Read more
Very good price for this size, lift top for up to 4 people. The height is adjustable and love the 2nd tray that extends as well allowing us to put more dishes when2-3 people are using it. WE like the sturdiness. One fall back-the sticker on top corner is impossible to remove-stays sticky for months on-annoying! That sticker should be on the underside. People installed it wrong thinking thinking the part with sticker should face down. We love the bottom compartments to keep things neatly. The height of the legs is great as it allows our Roomba vacuum to pass through. Read more
