These tables are relatively easy to put together and are pretty stable. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not checking the height of the table compared to the couch and they do not fit over the arm/side of the couch. It would be convenient if they were height adjustable. Nice size table surface for a laptop or tablet, doing homework or just need a place to set a drink. Side note if you have little ones in your home please be careful of the corners, they are just the right height to take a little one’s eye out. It was better than expected. I had bought one before this one and it's nice, but this is much nicer, little bit taller, wider top and it holds heavier items. I can use it not just in the living room. Very happy with purchase. I put it together in 30 mins. :-) Read more

this is a functional table that you can use on the side of your couch or in front of. It holds a plate and a glass of normal size. Read more

It comes with the vertical risers in two pieces and takes a bit of putting together - pretty easy to do and tools and all screws (with a few extras - nice touch that) are supplied. If having a few screw heads showing on the risers is a problem for you don't buy it. Otherwise assembled it is solid and looks really good. I got the "retro brown" top which was much nicer than I expected ( I sometimes replace supplied furniture kit parts with better crafted pieces - not worth the effort here). Bottom line: it looks great and rather better than ones I saw in stores that cost three or four times as much. Also got an OK+ from my wife who has much harsher taste than I do. Read more
