I was looking for a dog bed for our girl since she is used to sleeping on the bed with us and unfortunately she will not be able to because my husband has undergone a double knee replacement. So we set it up next to our bed. It is great. Our ole girl loves it. The zipper seems to hold well. It's soft. Downside is that they sent a bigger inside mattress for a 36" case.
