Sturdy and secure, make your ride a bit better with this phone holder
I have had a bike assembled and on a stationary stand, complete with all the bells and whistles (ok, just a bell), ready for me to hop on and imagine the wind in my hair. Less than 2 weeks after it was set up, I had a major injury to my knee that left me sidelined from mid-January to July 25th, when I had surgery, and even that isn't counting the time laid out post-op. But anyway, I was FINALLY able to get up on my new bike as part of my PT, and quickly realized that the business card holders that we use as phone stands wouldn't hang off of the edge of my basket, nor was it very feasible to have the phone on the shelf to my right, as it was very hard to hear/see while on the bike. So, I got this guy. It fit perfectly on the bike's handlebars, just fit the end bit around your bars, tighten it a bit and you have a hands-free way to watch or listen to media on your bike. I'm actually very impressed by the quality of the stand, and the phone holder part itself. I have a Samsung Galaxy and it slides riiiight inside the loosened phone holder (which seems to have a slightly grippy interior) and with a few twists of the dial, the phone is securely in place. The gooseneck could stand to be just a *touch* longer, but this length, with the ability to adjust the gooseneck stand or the phone holder part itself, it makes viewing easy. The phone holder is super secure, at least for a phone my size, even on a jostling bike. This took the place of my bell, which is fairly useless inside unless I want to scare the cat, and I'm glad it did. It makes cycling indoors so much more enjoyable. Read more
