I bought this because I carry a sidearm in a paddle holster and need a thick, stiff full grain leather belt. This one is high quality full grain, nicely dyed and nicely edged coating. My paddle clip hasn’t scratched the leather, the belt shows no sign of having supported a holster. The buckle is heavy duty lighter alloy and looks like it will definitely outlast the leather. The belt is great but the sizing chart not so. 36” pants on me need a belt to hold them up so I bought the 43” long belt recommended. This is too short with the buckle on the 2nd hole. Had to return. *** whilst return I notice “made in China” . For that price I can get an Amish made belt for only $10 more. So I cancelled my replacement order. Read more

This belt is made of thick, sturdy leather with a very solid buckle. You could hang a Saber from it! It's about as substantial as my Galco belt, but much less costly. It also has many holes to allow for a wide range of adjustment. Yet its polished finish is suitable for dress occasions, other than very formal events. Update: I liked this belt in black so well, I got another in brown! Constructed just as well. Great price for a belt made this well. I give it two thumbs up! IMPORTANT! The screw next to the buckle came apart and fell into my toilet while I was standing over it 🤯. Well, at least I saw where it fell and didn't lose it! 😊 Fortunately, it was easy to retrieve and reinstall. SO...be sure to check the tightness of the screws frequently! Over 20 years ago, I bought a great thick belt which through the years, and I could never find a better belt to replace it with, until I was forced to buy this. Nice and wide, THICK and stiff, yet right flex. Buckle and rivets are solid. Even down to the oval notches to better accommodate the buckle. It's easily the best belt I could imagine.
