I feel like I caught a steal when I found this hat. I went away on a trip and where I went, I anticipated it being chilly (and perhaps rainy). Needless to say, I wasn't wrong. I wound up wearing this hat quite often. It fit nicely on my head, I have wbald head by the way. It didn't make me sweat; it kept me warm. It's somewhat stretchy so it has some give to it when you wear it. It's not loose but it's not so tight when you put it on that you get a headache. I was able to wear it with just about anything. Whether I had on jeans and a hoodie or dress pants with a button down, this hat was a perfect accessory. I'm not quite sure how durable this hat will be after washing it; I'll probably hand-wash it. This review pertains only to the "Black Waffle Knit" model. It is extremely well made, though runs a bit snug. Yes, it does stretch, but just know it's a bit snug even when stretched, so if you have a gigantic cranium like my size 8/64cm melon, it will be on the snug-er side. NOT necessarily uncomfortably snug, but more snug than that Carhartt brand. Another aspect of the Black Waffle Knit model which prompted me to write this review - it is made in the USA. Another model (the olive drab model) is made in Taiwan. But the black waffle knit, made right here in the USA, supporting American jobs. As an old Marine Captain, I can't put to words how much that means to me. Well done, Wolverine. Now do that for all your others. All that said, this is a mighty fine knit cap and I recommend it highly, with the caveat for fellow huge-headers out there. Read more

Really like it but little small wish these type of beanies were longer to cover completely over ears. This one is really nice and comfortable but it's to small and tight. Seems more for teen or small person. Read more
