I've been wearing this brand and style of pants for years and dread the day they may stop making them. I love them, because they last for years, hold their shape for years, and fit well, even in my sessions with my trainer. (I like soft,, comfy pants that hold their shape and do not ride up or cling in embarrassing ways.) They also have nice sized pockets that do not sag or bulge out. The only thing I have noted is that they tend to run a bit short. I am only 5'5", but I buy the tall lengths, which are perfect and do not shrink in the dryer. I am updating my review after having washed and dried the pants on hot/warm and havung worn them a few times. These pants do not shrink after having washed and dried them. The rise is too high; I can pull the waist band up to just below my chest. I felt like Fred Mertz in the man-eating-tie pants. The pants length is good, just to the top of the heel of my shoe; however, the inseam drop between crotch and the pants is about 2 inches, which will allow my thighs to potentially chafe when they rub together. The waist was pretty large; I ordered a 3x, which is usually size 26-28, but I noticed that the label in the pants next to 3x was "30×32", which is more like a 4x, which is too large for me. Like all of the pants that I have ordered from Amazon recently, the pants fit around the waist, hips and bottom, but they leave loads of room between my belly button and legs, as well as having the pants balloon around my legs instead of pants that fit my legs. I liken it to wearing a barrel or sack fron the waist down. None of these pants are flattering on me due to my legs being too small to fit the pants, thereby producing a balloon effect when I wear them. These pants would be good for someone who needs a lot of room in the legs and below the belly button. On the positive side, these pants are soft, flexible and comfy. I’ve been buying and wearing these pants for years and years. They were comfy, had pockets, and fit fine. After losing weight, I recently ordered a new pair in a smaller size. Very disappointed! Just because I am Large TALL, doesn't mean I need the additional length for my body. These sit 3 1/2" ABOVE my waist line. The leg length is great, PERFECT!...but when the waist sits just below my bra...it is AWFUL. Going to try and return them for the regular size Large, and you watch, they'll be too SHORT! Read more

I'm 74 and tired of wearing jeans that are stiff and too tight. I ordered these thinking they looked soft and nice fitting. Also I'm cold all the time even in summer with the air conditioner on. These are not real heavy but keep my legs warm. They're so comfortable I'm ordering more. They fit right at your waist where pants should fit instead way down past your navel. We get too old to wear pants like that! For fit I weigh 155 and I ordered the 18/20 seems big but they fit perfect. No one ever tells you in these review's what size fits so I hope this helps.
