Woman Within Plus Size Microfleece Cardigan Shawl Collar Oversized Long Open Jacket

This is soft, warm and comfortable! I wanted something to wear while watching tv or just enjoying my morning coffee. I keep my heat turned down at bedtime but usually don’t turn it up until after my coffee. This cardigan is roomy and I choose a size that would give me a little wiggle room like a robe just not the length. It is very warm but not hot. I am so thrilled that this is true to size with a little room. The pockets are just at the right place so that I can get my hands in them comfortably. I really can’t say enough good things about this cardigan. I ordered this on December 22 for me but not a gift and was given the delivery date of January 7-14. Received it on December 30. I was looking for something ultra soft and lightweight to wear while working at home. I WANT TO LIVE IN THIS THING! It's so soft and not too bulky, and almost perfect. I'm short, so I'll have to shorten the sleeves a little, and I might like the option for a single closure when I leave the house to do short trips to the school or post office drive thru, but in case I didn't mention it before... SO COMFY! I'm ordering another to rotate through the laundry. (Yes, it looks like a short robe, wears like a cardigan, feels like a microplush cloud of heavenly comfort. Even the seams aren't itchy!) The coat took almost 2 weeks to arrive and tracking was terrible. It finally arrived and while I ordered one size down like was suggested it is still too big. I think ordering 2 sizes down from what you normally buy is probably best. I went ahead and ordered another one in the Medium size as I like how light weight and cozy it is. Read more

I bought this for my mother in law who lives in Illinois last year for Christmas. She never mentioned anything about it, I kind of a assumed she didn't care for it. I saw finally saw her again recently and she was wearing it. I asked if that was the one she received from us last year. She said yes and that she loves it. She wears it all day, every day in the cooler months. It is admittedly a cozy fit and something meant more for wearing around the house. Very soft and comfortable! This is great for the early morning when the house is cold. I would have rated it higher except I'd like to see these two changes: (1) Don't sew the cuffs down - leave them loose so you can roll up. For me I could have used 1" longer; (2) The back that covers your hips could be longer. - it's too short. They could have tailored it that way like you see in a tunic shirt. I love, love, love these!!! I purchased 2 of these - a gray one for home and a black one to keep at work. The fleece is super soft and doesn't pill. The style of this cardigan is dressier than a typical fleece jacket. I dress in what I guess you would call business casual for work (cardigans, blazers, dress slacks) and this cardigan coordinates better than a zip front fleece jacket when I need some additional warmth at work. That being said, I also wear this as an outer jacket with a turtleneck/light sweater with jeans in the fall and spring (Michigan temps). If you're familiar with Woman Within you will realize their sizing is more generous than the average brand. I usually wear a size 18/20 in tops and size 22/24 in pants (typical pear shape). I purchased size 1X (18/20 in Woman Within) and they fit great. Plenty of room through the hip. Read more

Great oversized fleece overpiece. I bought in 4x though usually wear 3x. I had read the reviews knowing it would be huge on my 5’2” plus size frame, and it is! I want the extra room, because I am in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and want the extra room. I will wear this also as a hospital robe after giving birth and well into post partum days. The nice thing about the sizing is that the arms are not huge, so it’s cut properly for plus size women. If you size down, it better resembles a jacket. If you size up, then it resembles a longer robe. The fabric could be nicer but isn’t a deal breaker. Read more
