I have this sweater in so many colors that it's almost an obsession. So why do I love it so much? So many reasons! The material is a midweight 100% cotton. Not too heavy, but not flimsy. It's never too warm, but there's enough weight to keep it from being clingy or saggy. And the best part, no itchiness! The colors have all been true to color and haven't run or faded. The buttons are close enough together and the buttonholes are well made, so I can wear this buttoned up as a pullover sweater with no gaping or peekaboo. The versatility is great! I can wear it over a turtleneck or tank as a cardigan, buttoned up all the way as a crewneck, unbuttoned part way as a v-neck. It works well with scarves or necklaces. The long sleeves are easily pushed up or cuffed/rolled for 3/4 sleeves. I've worn this sweater comfortably on the hottest humid summer day and in the middle of a Wisconsin winter. It always seems to be the right choice. Note: check the size chart before ordering, and order accordingly. Love this cardigan. I wanted one that's soft, all cotton, and loose enough to wear over anything. This one's perfect for that. So many of the cardigans I've tried make the back of my neck itchy, even cotton ones, but this one is great, very comfortable. It's light and loose enough I can wear it over a long-sleeve top without it feeling bulky, but it doesn't look dumpy or floppy. Much of the time the woman within brand tends to run a little big. I typically wear a 4xbut I bought a 3X and it fits perfectly. This is the perfect basic cardigan!
