I purchased this primarily for gardening but it would be great for walking as well. The only downside was the strong chemical odor. A wash and a long airing out took care of the smell. The good surprise were the two large interior pockets. Perfect for a large cellphone and wallet or sunglasses. Maybe a notepad. The four front pockets were generous as well. The vest has an intermediate length, longer that the cropped style and just what I wanted. This is a perfect casual utility vest for me. I would purchase this again. I followed the size chart and ordered a size 20 initially, in the light stonewash. It was waaayyy too big, so I returned and reordered in an 18. Just received that one, and it honestly seems bigger than the 20. I will be returning and ordering smaller again, since other reviews state that there is not any shrinking. I just wish each order didn't take over a week to arrive, and that the refund process was quicker. Also disappointed that the price is higher now than when I first ordered. That being said, the vest seems to be a nice quality and I do like the pockets and the length. Gonna keep trying for the right size! Read more

All you need to do is add sleeves and it would be a denim jacket-excellent quality and nice weight-I am 5’5” and weight 150-I bought a 16W and it fits perfectly-I washed it with some Downy in the rinse cycle and put it in the dryer for a regular cycle and it came out nice and soft-this is now my favorite vest Read more

It fit in the chest the shoulders are a tad large, I usually wear a size L but most of the denim vests are made for small chest woman. I had to size up just for the chest size. I gave it a five because the over all fit was good. I would have liked for it to be two inches longer and made out of a softer denim with 10% stretch. Over all I really like it, will ware it often, love the front pockets and the side pockets and the secret pouches on the inside. Read more

I bought this vest in 2022 in denim blue and black. They are great! I wear them a lot! Just bought another black in the same size. This new vest is much larger and very stiff. I must say it is well made and stylish - just different cut in the size. I’ve tried to wash several times to shrink it. So far it’s not helpful. That would be a great quality if it fits you well. I don’t know what I can do but hang it in closet or maybe keep washing? Just confused about size difference in 2 years. Read more
