This is one of the best skirts you can buy online. I've bought so many and none of them fit and flow the same way as this with such amazing quality. They hide the places you need to while showing off your curves (even if you didn't think you had any). I wished they made these in different lengths and more solid colors. If you, like me, are a short thiccc millennial who has given up on pants that aren’t leggings and wants a high waisted skirt to add to your closet rotation, read on. You probably want this skirt. 1) read the sizing guide - it’s probably gonna tell you to get a smaller size than you’re used to, but trust it. If I’d bought the usual 2x I normally get, this would be too big. The 1x was exactly the right size for the magical ratio of flattering AND comfortable. 2) the fabric was heavier than what I expected, which is a drawback in the summer, but it means it holds its shape without clinging - and what a lovely shape it has. The gores are gonna make you twirl like a 6 year old in a princess dress, and YET this thing has AN ELASTIC WAISTBAND. All the comfort of granny clothes without having to look like you belong in a nursing home. And the stiffer fabric means you can tuck your shirt into this skirt and you won’t have that annoying bunchy look underneath. 3) she’s got pockets. POCKETS. Real pockets deep enough to put stuff in. (It’s also very easy to make pockets bigger if you want.) 4) I did mention being short and “high waisted” for a reason. I’m 5’4” and if you’re taller than me, this will probably fit you “normally.” If you’re my height or shorter, you may have to alter this to fit you “normally” - but if you’re short and you want a high waisted skirt that reaches your ankles like I did, this is a good bet. 5) want a skirt that’s unpretentious enough to easily be worn with t-shirts, tanks, and crop tops? Check. Unpretentious but still cute, and you could dress it up to be something business casual? Check. All that versatility with comfort and pockets? Check. Soft, well fitting, exactly as advertised. Seriously. My ONLY complaint, and its minor, is that you would think it has more movement than it does. It's ok though, it looks good, and it is comfy. If I have to wear a skirt, I could do worse. Read more

Was hoping this was more like a high-waisted maxi skirt, even at a plus size. Alas, it comes more to my midcalf. But I enjoy the weight of the skirt, as well as the color. I am 5'6" and 200 lbs post-partum if that helps. I think as I lose the baby weight, this will adjust and still be usable. Washes well in the laundry. Read more

I was looking for a black skirt that was suitable for fall/winter. This one fit the bill with fabric that had more weight and substance than a summer weight fabric. I really like the gores that give it a flare at the bottom but don’t add bulk at the waist. I don’t usually buy woman’s sizes, but I’m glad I did this time.
