I love the shade of red; it's eye-catching and simply beautiful! I love that the design is so unique, stylish, and a bit 'edgy.' I love that they are not made of animal skin/leather. I also love that they are comfortable to wear -- though there is not much padding inside. I will be using gel inserts, like I do with most of my dress shoes and boots. I get SO many compliments when I wear these! I ordered my usual size, and they fit well, w plenty of room left over for thick (or thin) socks. The zippers seem to be of high quality, and do not irritate my leg/skin -- even with short socks on. I can find nothing bad to say about these awesome boots! Read more
These boots have no business being so comfortable to wear. Even though there is an almost four-inch heel, I don't feel like I'm listing forward. It could be the block heel design? Whatever magic they employ, I'm very grateful for it! The black boots (really tri-colored boots with contrasting heel) are a dead ringer for the Louis Vuitton x Fornasetti for F/W collaboration in 2021. I haven't been able to find a red version of that boot, but I didn't search extensively. I knew I wanted the red for a bright pop of color. I love the whimsy of the strappy reinforced toe design. It's akin to wearing a pair of Tabis then realizing how weird it is that you're wearing cloven shoes and deciding to magically join the split toes into one. I'm knocking it one star because the color of red is so vivid and bright, it's almost closer to a red-fuchsia hybrid rather than the deep true-red color shown in the product photos. I'll admit, when I first saw the two color options, I was gonna go with red. But let me tell you... I'm so glad that I didn't! Don't get me wrong, the red are gorgeous... But these!!! They are so cute!!! I love them so much more in person than when I saw them online... And I actually love them on, more than anything. They have such an eye-catching uniqueness to them that simply makes them stunning. I'm normally a 6.5, but that size wasn't offered as an option, so I sized up to a 7. I definitely have some room, and probably could have gotten away with the 6. But they're so comfortable, that it doesn't affect how I walk... They have a great fit to them. They seem to be made well... So, the price is on point for the craftmanship, style, comfort and overall design! Read more
