The material of this sweater looks to be nicer than the polyester/acrylic blend that is actually is. If I saw it on someone else I'd guess it was a wool or cotton blend. But it feels softer than wool or cotton. I like the olive green color, which is perfect for fall. It is an oversized fit, but it is still flattering because of the drape of the design. There is some suggestion from the photo on the website that the sweater is meant to fall off the shoulder, but it doesn't fit that way on me. It has a crew neck which is very comfortable. This is a substantial sweater, meaning I expect it will be warm when the weather is very cold, especially with a layer underneath. I thought the embroidered flowers were a cute idea and would add a spark of bright color. And they do. However, the quality of the embroidery looks cheaply done so it ends up detracting from the overall well made look of the sweater. I wanted to love this sweater because the style looked really cute online - the drop shoulder and oversized fit give it a nice relaxed vibe. The fabric is soft and definitely warm enough for cooler weather and breathable enough for layering. It’s that perfect in-between thickness for fall through spring. That said, the fit wasn’t quite what I hoped for. The sleeves are a little long for me, which looks trendy but can be a bit much if you prefer something easier to manage. Mixed feelings on this one. On the positive side, the fabric is thick, soft, and perfect for cold weather. The design is really pretty and it fits true to size in a modest, fitted way.
