Ordered these wanting to wear them to work in a greenhouse, which can get hot and humid. The fabric is like soft polyester so I would be keen to wear them in cooler weather because they did not feel as comfortable in warmer temperatures. They are not very breathable then. Much more comfortable in the cool. I like the style and fit however, because my legs are disproportionately short and I'm not able to tuck them under because of the silky feel of the fabric and the fact that it has side splits at the ankles, I ended up tying them around my ankles. I had gotten these, expecting them to be like dress pants, but they are more like something I would wear hiking. The material is strange, but seems to breath. My biggest problem with them is they are so loud! I'm a thicker thighed female, so, the noise these make is ridiculous. And it isn't just walking, it's when I move in my chair or any other movement. I could wear these hiking, but I'd probably scare all the animals away. The way they feel while on is comfortable. These were true to size and fit find, no shrinkage during the washing/drying process. The waistband is pretty wide and I don't really care for that, but I can fold them down and they feel fine. These WROLEM high waisted pants are cute, they fit comfortably (I'm a size 6 women's 5ft 5 inches about 133 lbs), and they are indeed very lightweight. I had read the reviews so I was not surprised by the fabric, which is not a stretchy knit, but more like ripstop fabric. More suitable for hiking where you want something strong to protect your legs but also lightweight so you don't get too hot and water resistant/quick-drying. The problem with these pants, unfortunately, it that the highly stitched broad waistband is SUPER itchy. It's true I am a little sensitive to clothing, like tags sewn into the back of shirts really bother me. But still, I found this design to make these pants impossible for me to use. I would have to wear a shirt tucked into the pants to make it bearable. But as these are lightweight pants, I would only want to wear them in weather that was probably too warm to want to wear an undershirt. Another problem is that they are very noisy to wear. I think if you are fine wearing a tucked-in shirt, they might be serviceable as hiking pants. Read more

These are a decent pair of basic pants. What I liked about them: 1. Correct length. 2. YAY FOR POCKETS! All women's pants should have pockets, and these ones do. 3. The fabric has some give, meaning these pants are comfortable enough for extended walking. 4. These can look casual or EXTRA casual, depending on the shoes you wear. One day I wore a pair of flats with them. Another day I wore walking shoes. 5. For pants with an elastic waistband, the waistband really works. The elastic will never flip around or become bulky, and the elastic waistband doesn't even look that bad. I like the multiple rows of stitching. 6. Nice little detail on the leg openings. 7. I like the wider leg width. What I didn't like about the pants: 1. They fit perfectly until after I washed them and then there was slight shrinkage. These pants remind me so much of jeans, in their fit and drape, yet they're a bit nicer so you can wear them almost anywhere. They fit well, although the waist is a bit higher than I prefer, although if I had much of a tummy it would tuck it away nicely, and a bit shorter than I prefer (I'm pretty long legged) but overall should fit most people in my size range well. These are cute and comfortable. I wouldn't wear them for a special occasion or anything but they're nice casual, laid-back pants. I don't like the slit at the base of the pants around where the ankle is. I don't think that that was necessary especially since they're already a wide leg pants, but it's not too high and it doesn't look bad.
