This Cropped Jacket is very nice, tailored right and well made! I love the Pearl trim throughout the hem lines and placket of the jacket. It’s a great statement jacket that is eye catching. This jacket is made of a thick and durable,Polyester material that does not wrinkle. It has a nice interior lining that feels silky smooth and is very comfortable. The open, cropped jacket is very flattering and can easily be layered. It’s very lightweight, breathable and easy to wear. It does not feel restricting or tight and can be worn in many ways! Cute and well made jacket. Can be dressed up or dressed down. I have worn with a T-shirt under and it leans toward an edgy younger vibe and with a blouse under for a professional adult look. The jacket itself is a nice tweed. I’m in between a small and a medium and went with a small. It fits but is a tad snug in the shoulders. I think medium would have been too big though. The pearls on the sleeves do look secure but they hit on everything all day long so I just know I’m going to lose some. I work an office job at a computer all day so just typing they are constantly banging the desk. I was going to return because I didn’t want to deal with the pearls but I think I’m going to keep it after all. Read more
This jacket looks really cute one, and pairs equally well with jeans or with a skirt in more formal situations. The fit is perfect and the long arms and short jacket are super hot right now and the whole thing is pretty lightweight. The material feels weird, not gonna lie, like a plastic-ish stuff, but it LOOKS amazing up close and could easily pass for super expensive designer stuff, only safe to actually wear somewhere without worrying about it getting wrecked. The best part is that the jacket is fully lined with a supe silky lining, and so you don't have to worry about the feel of the material. Big win! Read more
I like it! Let’s talk about the positives first… okay. First of all, I found the piece to be very well made. No odd or uneven hems, and it’s completely lined. The little pearls are well attached, secured through the underside of the fabric as you’ll see with little silver tacks in my attached photos. And the sizing seems to be correct for the my usual go to, size small anyway. I will add that there are times I need to size up to a medium with blazers, depending on overly structured pieces with no stretch. Although not necessary, I am able to take both sides and have them meet in center when on. Not always the case for me. For reference I am 5’ tall 34DD/27”W/36”H at roughly 124 lbs. So what are the not so positives, if even… and for the purpose of this review are worth mentioning. I wish the shoulder area was more tailored for me. No biggie and certainly something that can be fixed. Sleeves hang a little long on me, but I’m petite so there’s that - I was able to easily push them up my arm for a more casual look, so easy fix there + there’s tons of easy ways to secure in place (think stretchy bracelets, bands, etc) The fabric is not a true tweed, it is nice though and honestly when you first handle this blazer I think you’ll like it. I’m fairly picky and didn’t get that cheap feeling at all. I would say it’s mid weight, not so heavy that you need to take off while inside. If you live where the temps get cooler, you’ll likely still need a little something to keep warm while outdoors. For me, this is a cute blazer I’ll likely pair with a white top similar as shown on the model. I think it’ll be a fun addition around the holidays. Maybe a pair of dark denim jeans, black slacks or skirt. I like it and don’t have anything like it in my closet. Think casual wear and when you want to feel put together without over the top full on business. Read more
This is one of my favorite styles of women's jackets. It fits comfortably. The white beaded pearls against the black fabric are aesthetically pleasing. I inspected the stitching and found it exceptional. I saw no signs of shortcuts. The lining is soft. The pockets are functional and lined. This is a well-constructed garment of excellent quality. The style is similar to the classic straight-sided Chanel jacket, but it is not tweed. It is a textured polyester. (If it were tweed, it would cost considerably more.). I really wanted to love this jacket, it looks so cute and sharp in the pictures. And from a quality standpoint, it's definitely well-made. It's fully lined, and the pearl trim (which is what caught my eye) seems to be attached securely. I was also very happy to see it has two functional pockets. My hang-up, though, is the overall style in person. It just doesn't come across as modern as I'd hoped. Something about the combination of the padded shoulders, the 100% polyester fabric, and the pearl trim ends up looking... well, a bit more old lady or dated than chic. I am blown away by the quality of this cropped blazer for the price point. The pearl accents are sewn well onto the thick fabric with no loose beads. The fit is somewhat relaxed, so you could choose to wear this over a cocktail dress or a long sleeved shirt. The color is a true deep black, and the overall look is very Karl Lagerfeld and a fraction of the price.
