I'm always happy when vests have a moment and even happier when it's a denim vest. This vest is cute, stylish and comfortable - what more could you want? I wish I had it a couple of weeks ago when ladies night included learning how to line dance at a country bar. (If you haven't tried it - do it as soon as possible.) But I will definitely be wearing this the next time we go. I'm thinking with a black skirt and white t-shirt or maybe left open with a colorful top and jeans in a lighter or darker wash. There are so many ways to style this and for any activity, not just a country theme. I'm looking forward to pairing it in the fall with an earth toned turtleneck or lightweight sweater. In the summer, it can provide a little extra warmth on my back during cooler nights. I will admit that I was a little nervous about the split at the bottom of the buttons. I worried that my 55 yr old menopause belly would stick out too much for it to look nice. But the vest falls beautifully. For reference, I'm 5"5.5', 158 lbs. and the large fit me well. The shirt I'm wearing under the vest in the photos is not what I would normally pair it with. It was just what I was wearing when the vest arrived.
