These are useful for a quick costume and fit kids legs way better than an adult. I am muscular but my calves are not that big, and the stretch in the top of these does not expand enough to fit over my calf. It can still be used like a leg warmer scrunchie type of situation. The bottom opens wide enough to fit over shoes/boots. I got these to support my hometown lacrosse team that is mostly orange so I will be wearing these to the games. Seem to be sewn ok but I am thinking if these get wet, the 'fur' may start to fall out... for the price it's fine, but I will be surprised if these last a whole season. These are super furry and cute! I ordered these for my teenage daughter - she loves leg warmers, especially fluffy, furry ones. These fit her perfectly. She is of average size with average sized calves. I have larger calves and don't think these would fit me based on the stretch. So I would recommend these for kids or teenagers. The quality of these is nice overall. The fur is soft and doesn't look sparse like others we've had. I haven't noticed much shedding with these leg warmers either, so that's a plus. I love fuzzy leg warmers/boot covers, and I'm building quite the collection. So when I saw these in a color I didn't have yet, I jumped on it. Especially since they looked like they'd coordinate with my Halloween costume pretty well. I was pretty excited, but when I got them I was a bit let down. I know faux fur can be a crap shoot where quality is concerned, and I think the last pair I ordered spoiled me (from a different company). These are average. They're pretty bulk standard faux fur, with a coarse texture and not very plush. They look nice, and the color matches the product images, but they're kind of flat. I have wider calves, and these do fit good. All said and done, I'm still giving them 5 stars because they do look exactly as advertised and they're decent for the price. Read more
