I bought the white pair for a light, summery look, and overall I'm happy with them. The fabric is very lightweight and breathable—great for hot days—but that also means the white color is a bit sheer. Wearing neutral layers underneath or pairing them with a longer top or tunic helps a lot. The fit is loose and wide, which is comfortable, but even the small felt a little too roomy on me. Ordering the right size and keeping the relaxed fit shown in the photos gives a much better look than going too tight. Depending on your height and shoes, you may need to adjust the length. I would not normally wear these out casually since the white option was slightly sheer due to the lightweight fabric, so layering or neutral tones underneath would be needed. I got these in size small (I’m 5'4”, 118 lbs), and the fit is okay but not great. The fabric is lightweight, but the cotton-linen blend feels a little rough and not as flowy as I expected. The high waist is flattering, but the wide leg looks a bit too boxy on me. They’re comfortable for casual wear, just not as polished or flattering as the photos suggest. These are pretty pants. As soon as I pulled them out of their packaging, I knew they would look nice. But, a couple of issues, and it just may be my body type, but they’re still issues. I’m 5ft, 4in and weigh 137 lbs. (I weighed myself when I tried them on, just to make sure). So, I’m sort of petite and am not particularly overweight for a 74 year old woman. • They’re long, but then again everything is long on me anyway. If I wore higher heels than I do, they’d probably be just fine. Hems can be hemmed shorter. • They’re very high waisted but then again that may be a function of their length. But that’s an issue for me. For the price, having them tailored wouldn’t be worth it. Because I like them, I’ll just roll the waist up like I did when I was in high school. • A rather large issue is that they’re see-through. If “you” don’t care, who cares? but at my age I don’t feel comfortable wearing see-through. Since I do like them, I’ll wear a tunic over them. That looks nice anyway so that’s a win (sort of). So, that’s how they fit me as an older and shorter person. If you’re a bit taller and a bit high-waisted, you shouldn’t have a problem. They’re pretty and they’re soft. Read more
These are not your modest white pants. However if you order the proper size and get a loose fit as seen in the online picture you do get a little better outcome than a tight fit. I wear a loose tunic or longer top with these too. This combination gives a light summer casual look that’s comfortable to wear and looks great. Materials is light and perfect for hot summer days.
