I selected this horse patterned crewneck sweater in the red, which is actually burgundy, and in a size large. The item arrived very quickly, and I noticed right away that it was well made. The stitching is nice and tight and not loose so it shouldn’t snag or unravel. Part of me feels like this is in between a sweater and a sweatshirt as it’s thick and just has a different feel to it than all of my other sweaters. I wanted it roomy so I could wear a shirt underneath of it so I went with the large, even though I normally wear a medium. I liked how it draped on the model in the listing. However, I think by sizing up the sweater just got wider as it is a little bit boxy but not any longer in length. The sleeves are just a tad long on me as I usually wear a petite, but it is doable. Cute sweater with a really nice feel. I washed in cold water and tumbled dry and feel it shrunk a little. It was not flattering to my curvy body type (I am a US 8/10, typically a medium and ordered Medium) but was perfectly oversized for my size small mother who is just a bit shorter than I am with a more athletic build. The sweater is very soft, that’s the first thing I noticed when I received it. It’s flattering on the body and goes with pretty much everything! You can wear it with shorts, skirts, pants, and leggings. It can be worn all year round but I do love it for the fall/winter. It’s pretty warm but averagely thick so if it’s really cold out you’d want to wear a jacket over it or something thick under it. It looks so cute even for lounging at home with sweatpants / joggers. It’s true to size (I’m 5’4”, 125lbs, and wearing a size small). I love it!!! I’d highly recommend it. Update: do not machine wash! My sweater shrunk in the dryer and the color and softness changed. I’d recommend either washing in cold water then laying flat to dry or just handwashing it entirely. Read more
