Very nice jewelry box. I got this for my teenager for Christmas. Tons of storage! My only issue is I thought the whole thing locked, but the bottom drawer does not (more of a me issue for not reading through the reviews to see this before hand). The key did take me a few tries to get it to actually work, but once I was able to lock it the first time it locked/unlocked with ease. Read more
This jewelry box is SO PRETTY! I'm loving the vintage glam! It has GREAT organization with not only the drawer at the bottom, but also the necklace organizer behind the earrings! I'm loving the different sized compartments inside too! It's a great box for the price! And it comes with a super cute key! The lock is really decent as well and the box itself is suuuuuper soft and velvety! Read more
It's hard for me to give this only 4 stars, because I love it so much, but there is a reason. Two actually. This is the third time I've purchased this jewelry box. In addition to the "caramel" color I just received, I also have the purple and the green. I am SO in love with the style, the functionality, and the colors! I have been battling an unmanageable collection of jewelry that ends up in all sorts of places, or stays in boxes where I can't see them, and sometimes a piece goes missing for a while, becomes a cat toy, etc. I finally decided it was time to solve this problem once and for all, and these gorgeous boxes are perfect. I chose different colors because it helps my neurodivergent brain remember where I put things and where they belong. "I want to wear X necklace, and I know lives in the purple jewelry box!" "Where do I keep that bracelet? The picture in my head has a green background...voila!" The fabric covering feels a bit like suede. I love how they can stack on each other without slipping around. The structure of the box is solid. The ring holders are probably thin cardboard under the fabric, and have a lot of "give" for thicker rings, but that can make them bend a bit too much for my liking (I don't want them to get deformed), so I tend to put thicker rings in the smaller "box" spaces. Note that putting large earrings above the ring area can also cause the ring "bumps" to get deformed, so be careful there. It has plenty of room for even large pieces of jewelry. I haven't found anything that doesn't fit yet, including a couple of coconut scarf holders and a chunky watch on a chain. The lock is a nice touch to keep roommates or siblings from poking around in your stuff, but I don't have that situation personally. The antique-looking key with the fringe holder is beautiful and adds a romantic flourish. Nothing about this box looks cheap. The lock and the drawer pulls are a pretty brushed bronze color. The color of this one is called "caramel" in the description. On the box I received, it says "brown". The picture here on Amazon looks orange! But it isn't really any of those. Personally, I would call it "copper". I'm just a tad bummed out that the key fringe is more yellow than caramel or brown or anything close to the actual color of the fabric. It has orange beads, so they were trying to get the idea but it didn't work. There may be limitations on what's available, but I'd a dark orange or even a dark brown would probably be better than the yellow. That may be a matter of personal opinion though. I wouldn't have thought to mention this if not for the prompts, but I will say that it has no smell. Sometimes these things do, especially when they involve foam and fabric of unknown origin. That is not the case for these jewelry boxes. They are just neutral. There are two minor adjustments I would recommend to any customer to compensate for a couple of situations I've run into -- and to the manufacturer as a product improvement: 1. The earring holes are TIGHT. Do not try to push delicate jewelry through them (I found out the hard way, my bad). You'll need to "pierce" them yourself with a good solid stud earring or a thin brad nail before using them. This should be done better at the factory. 2. I wish there was a thin piece of something solid to place against the earrings when closing the box, so they don't dangle and get smushed or interfere with closing the box. I will probably fashion something out of thin plastic, but it would be lovely if the manufacturer added a piece that is covered with the same fabric as the box. (I considered putting the earrings on the other side, against the necklaces. But then I'd end up with the backs of earrings facing when I open it, which is just not quite as aesthetically pleasing. And then they are also laying down and upside down when you look at them.) So there are just a couple of issues, but they are not deal breakers. As much as I love these, I hope that being honest about the issues will help others avoid mistakes that I made and perhaps lead the manufacturer to improve on an already wonderful design. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing way to store jewelry- I always lose earrings/rings. Not anymore thanks to this jewelry box! It’s very chic and comes in multiple color options- but I loved the green velvet because it feels “royal”. It even comes with a key if you have more value able jewelry to lock away. You can travel with this and your jewelry wouldn’t get all tangled up. I have loved getting ready every morning and actually getting to visually see all of my jewelry- it’s been so helpful when it comes to picking out my outfit. All that to say: MAKE THIS PURCHASE. Whether it’s a gift or for yourself, any recipient will love this! Read more
I should have returned it immediately but was 3/4 of the way arranging articles in box. It is a good idea but features are cheaply made. The sponge tubes collapsed when box was closed, the faux suede is coming off near the metal lock and the elastic loop designed to hold up a section is too large I managed to fix the tubes somewhat. The design is good but just not made well. As I said I kept it as I had put most of the jewelry in and didn't feel like going to the trouble to return. I am in my 80's and returning is a chore.
