I wanted a pair of knee-high boots that would work well during the colder months without having a high heel or feeling uncomfortable after a full day of wear. These boots checked most of the boxes for me in terms of comfort, fit, and overall design. They slip on easily, feel stable when walking, and the sizing matched what I usually wear. The block heel has a nice, sturdy feel, and the glossy finish gives them a bold, polished look that definitely stands out, and they kept me feet and legs warm. The comfort level was a pleasant surprise. The memory foam footbed makes them feel cushioned and supportive, even after several hours. I also liked that foot pads were included, which adds extra comfort without needing to buy anything separately. I am VERY impressed with the quality of Adolilove's tall, "burgundy," size 12, PE boots. These are absolutely GORGEOUS and extremely well made PE boots. 5 stars earned in that dept., for sure. See pics. As a leather girl, through and through, & have been for decades, that is a supreme compliment, for I'm comparing them to leather, not to PE. These are my very 1st pair of PE boots in my entire life! Its "burgundy"color is really that of a rich, dark chocolate brown, with only the tiniest hint of burgundy, resulting in a very classy and universally go-with-everything color, with makes them endlessly versatile. Another 5 star winner. see pic. The PE is of such high quality that from any wearing distance, it looks like genuine leather. It even has some resonable "grain" imprintation. See close-up pic. These are also my first pair of partial zippers for full knee-high boots. I was very skeptical of them fitting my calf without a full zipper, but I encountered no problems. A little more fuss, yes, but not problems. I'm 6ft tall, 280 lbs. As recommended, I measured my calves to see if they matched their perimeters and they fit perfectly over my 19" calves & came ALL the way up to my knee - no skimping here. In spite of my weight, I am not wide calved; these will not fit wide calves, even with the elastic give at the top. NOTES: I'd have given these boots a total 5 stars if they had: - sturdier, more rugged boot soles, better suited for icy conditions, not dress boots soles that one always finds with spiky high heeled dress boots. Since these were chunky heels, I expected the compromise sole somewhere in between extreme weather boots and these. I absolutely expect those worthless traction soles on slender high heeled boots, but not thick heeled boots, regardless of height. - 1" heel. That fact that they didn't bother to tell us the actual heel height is highly irritating. I'd never have ordered 3" heels, regardless of how stable they are (and these are stable!); 1.5", perhaps, but never 3 & 1/4", for I'm not in that season of life any more, nor will I be again. These work great for women used to daily high heel wear, dancers (which I once was) or the young, but not for a tough, old, plump hen like me. ;) I'll be taking them to my cobbler to see if I can have him whack off 2 inches without affecting either the balance or foot bed shape - a total experiment. If that works or fails, I'll update! **5Nov25 update: Per my cobbler, ONLY 1/2" OF HEEL CAN BE REMOVED. That means the boot heels are still 2 &3/4" high. No can go. - full calf zipper. Per their copy, "Designed with a side zipper...." The company doesn't specify and I falsely assumed I'd get a full zipper. This is online sales, folks, where the buyer can't handle the product; that's just sloppy copy on their part. It just takes more time to wriggle into a partial zipper. I don't want to spend my life compromising that way. I usually take waaaaay more stars off for lack of truth in advertising, but these boots truly are the high quality and beauties in all the other areas reviewed. - and DIDN'T HAVE this piece of thin plastic glued to my boot - see last pic! These are beautiful boots. Sadly, the toe p placement doesn't feel natural to my daughter. To be fair to the seller, my daughter is SUPER picky about her shoes and clothes. Two boots can be made exactly the same, and she will not like one pair for some obscure reason. I tried them on. I have wide calves, and they didn't pinch or squeeze. It was a bit tight around my ankles. My toes didn't feel unnaturally place. The height and comfort of standing on them was top notch. When the boots arrived they looked great. The brown was a deep rich brown and they had a good sexy shine to them. Unfortunately my wife should have left them in the box. The sizing was fine and they fit well but after wearing them for just a short time they hurt her feet. The material also "rolled" down after just a short walk making the top half of the boot look more like leg warmers than boots. I am not sure if that is what they were supposed to do or not but it didn't look great and my wife did not like them which means they won't get worn again. Read more

Attractive appearance with soft material. They have a little extra room at the leg which is good if I want to wear something tucked in or if someone has a larger calf. I wore these the day they arrived. They took me by surprise with how lovely they were to look at. Not too high, fit perfectly and went with the dress I was planning on wearing. I got lots of compliments on the night. The photo is just a tiny part of the boots, but they were comfy, shiny and I was able to wear them to a Halloween party for the entire night. These boots are a very classic and fashionable design. The detail at the ankle is a very nice and attractive touch that gives the boots an up to date design with an elegant flair. The square toe and heel style makes these boots very comfortable so you can wear them without fatigue. They go with everything from jeans to skirts and from causal to dressy. I really like that they are very easy to put on and take off. They are made of a sturdy material that insure you will have them for a long time .
