I'm 5'4" and weigh 150ish. Most of my weight is around my middle (thanks menopause!). The large fits comfortably. If there was an XL, I probably would have sized up just for the extra gathering/drape of the material. These come down almost to my ankle. I originally thought I'd wear these with combat boots. I'm worried the lace will get caught on the boot zipper and tear. For now, I'm wearing them with corduroy Mary Janes or my canvas sneakers. I really love the look! The quality of the lace is wonderful. I just love them so much that I don't want to risk snagging the lace. I LOVE these! I've been wearing them with funky t-shirts with messages decrying mans' inhumanity to man emblazoned on the front and oversized flannel or denim shirts--think Holly Hobby grunge aesthetic. The pettipants are super soft and comfy to wear as regular pants. I got stopped twice the first time I wore them and asked where I bought them. The dark colors of these pants are not see through. They are really fun and quirky. They are light and breathable. I can see me wearing them all year long in the deep south. The range of motion in these pants is incredible! I loved these so much that I also bought them in black! This was an easy and unique way to update how I wear t-shirts. I hate jeans and feeling restricted by clothing. These pettipants are perfect! Very happy to have them in my closet! I washed these alone in the front loading washer on cold and on the delicate cycle. I hung to dry. No damage and no shrinkage. Read more

These pants are so soft, airy and comfortable! The best part is they’re identical to Free People’s product at 1/4 the cost. Since FP’s quality has fallen way down and their price tag has gone way up, it’s great to find a hack that updates my wardrobe easily. And if it doesn’t last past the season no harm, it will have served its purpose. However, these pants are quite well made and if you use a laundry bag when you wash them they’ll last awhile. This is a cute pair of bloomers, not unlike to Free People pair listed for $98.00. I have not actually seen the FP pair, but I can get a good idea. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the same product without the FP price. I've ordered "light and airy" items from FP over the years, and frankly, they are not well made. These pumpkin pants are light and soft, perfect for jammies or just lounging around. they would look great under a jean skirt or other feminine type skirt. My only "complaint" is that there is a tie and elastic... completely unnecessary! I took out the tie and added a simple silk ribbon through the two holes for decoration. This reduces the bulk in the waist. Read more

These are a reasonable facsimile of FP bloomers but don’t expect them to not be a noticeable copycat. You can still re-create a pretty close look. First off the details are definitely not the high end that FP provides, but it’s 1/5 of the price. I’ve provided some pictures so that you can see the difference. The pair on the top are the FP bloomers so you can tell what the difference is. The lace is different, thinner, but still pretty decent quality. It has a nice drape to it. However, it is much simpler. There is a lot less fabric on this pair than the FP pair so it’s not going to be as bulky. This would be an advantage for some people who like a less baggy fit. These will still fit loosely. I would call the size true to size. No, they are not see-through. The fabric is not as nice as the FP bloomers it’s not as breathable or is silk like, but it is nice. They are comfortable. I’m keeping them. Read more

Lace is extremely cheap and cinches around the calf instead of having a loose boho fit like free peoples. Would be good for a costume, but on its own, not worth $20. Read more
