Update. I loved the shape and fabric of these pants so much that I bought a second pair. This time I made sure to wash in cold water and hang dry (first pair I put in the dryer).... Lo and behold the second pair shrunk just as much....they went from happily drooping at my ankle to 6" shorter and are now capris. And just like the first pair, the waist is also tighter after washing. I can't help but wonder if they will continue to shrink. I have promptly and with a sad heart returned these pants. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love these pants. Lightweight but not cheap/thin fabric. They have a nice flow. Size is accurate. BUT…..I struggled with how many stars to give…. I don’t remember seeing anywhere instructions to hang dry. MAKE SURE YOU HANG DRY. I know linen shrinks…but I kid you not these lost a minimum of 5 inches…. My full length pants (even a little bunchy at my ankles) are now capris. Read more
I looked and studied many different varieties of harem pants before deciding on this brand. I purchased two pair, the khaki color and black. I am 5’4” and 150 lbs. I wanted to allow for any shrinkage so I sized up one size. I haven’t washed them yet, but I don’t believe there will be any shrinkage problems as I intend to line dry after washing. I will also use a steamer for any wrinkles. The pants are very comfortable and have an attractive flow to their appearance. They are not tight fitting which is what I wanted. You can wear the pants straight or pull them tight with the drawstring at the ankle. These harem pants are a great buy especially for their price and being exactly as described by the seller. Know that if you plan to wear these with the ankles tied tightly then it may be an issue if you are taller than 5’0”. I’m 5’3” and they are plenty long enough but the ties made the pants choke my ankles with my need to move in different positions a lot. Even walking felt uncomfortable because it had no give at all. This is definitley a stiff fabric which is more forgiving on cellulite etc but truly no stretch. Honestly it’s exactly what you would imagine from a thick nice linen. I’m just not used to linen. I think it’s a great buy especially for someone not tying up the ankles. I would have preferred an elastic in the ankle and then I would have kept them. Read more
Extremely cute but HUGE. Even with larger thighs, I was swimming in these pants. I ordered a Large to align with other pants but I think maybe a Medium would’ve worked. Read more
Got these for my wife and she loves them. Here's what she had to say: "The material is nice. It's soft and the way the pants are constructed allows a lot of air flow, so they are very cool in the summer. I love the color. I love that you can tie them at the bottom. I love everything about them. They may run a bit large. These are size small but are a little big (or long) for a 5'2" frame. Aside from that, these are awesome." These pants are lightweight, soft, and roomy in all the right ways. The fabric feels breathable, perfect for lounging or warm days at home.
