Chunky lug sole, studded buckles, and a comfortable platform that adds height without punishing arches. The faux leather wipes clean and the zippers run smoothly. Traction is decent on wet sidewalks, though not a winter boot. They’re on the heavier side and run a touch snug with thick socks, but break-in took only a couple outings. If you’re after a bold look for concerts or nights out, these hit the brief. These are cool, chunky, stylish boots. They were comfortable right out of the box, and didn't require any time breaking them in. They have a bit of height to them, and they are heavier than some other boots, but I didn't notice the weight after wearing them for a few minutes. They feel sturdy and well made. They do run a little bit large, so there was a little extra room in the toe area, but nothing that made that big of a difference.
