I have been searching for a traditional classic sweater like this for awhile, so hard to find in a world that values chic over practicality. So pleased finally to find what surprised me was so hard to find: thick enough, soft, traditional style, simple and not itchy or scratchy. I had serious reserves getting this one being it comes from China of which I have had poor experience on Amazon as far as size, the sizes tend to be incredibly small and not USA sizing, and quality low. But this sweater is a pleasant surprise. Closest I came to this was Walmart a few years back, but that one was horribly thin, and not ample like I like to wear. This sweater, for the price, is well made, material is practical thick from a non-snowbird point of view. And I was pleased to find ordering the max size gave me the loose fit I wanted, no hugging at all over my clothes, and the price is a bargain. So tired of these $50 $60 $70 sweaters that don't even have buttons and material so thin would make a Floridian cold, and styles that are style-less that lose their shape a few hours into wear. So if you like grandma sweaters, this is it. In this one, made in China is all good. Read more

Bought 2 for my 95 year old mother. These are soft to the touch and seem way fancier than the price I paid!! Easy to wash and button. They are not heavy and fit generously while looking stylish. I would definitely buy again. Read more

So what I liked about this product, was that it was a little thicker than most sweaters of its type. It was very soft and warm. Fit description and size. Colors spot on. It also has just the right amount of stretch and clings just right. The reason I didn’t give this a five star rating was that I got a snag on mine pretty quickly… to be fair my fault totally, but … I don’t recommend wearing it where you maybe doing an activity where this could happen (playing with a little puppy with sharp nails n teeth) around anything that could possibly catch it unexpectedly! Could partially be the nature of this particular soft fabric. I think Great for the office year around, or indoors. Or “going to the movie sweater” year around. As far as wearing outside as a shell in mild weather, it is perfect! You certainly could wear it under your winter coat and stay warm. It’s the perfect thickness to layer with. If you are going to wear it just as a shell over a tank top or a dress I would recommend early spring n possibly summer nights in very cool dry climates… Good overall shell that retains its shape and comfortability!
