These are dramatic and stylish boots with a very unique touch: a silver toe cap that gives them a Western edge and definitely separates them from similar boots. With these on, I feel like I'll be able to inflict serious damage on any offender while looking sexy as h*ll doing it. These fit true to size, have an average amount of arch support (you may want to add more of your own, are easy to pull on and are surprisingly comfortable for having such a pointy toe. WIth over the knee boots, there is always the dreaded "slip down" effect - especially after months of regular wear. But I can say that so far, having been worn probably half a dozen times, they aren't falling down yet. The fabric is rather thin, which is ok with me but others may find a little cheap looking. These are so cool and unique. I love thigh high boots but I have always been hesitant to buy ones that aren't adjustable or have laces because most are too loose on me and keep falling down. These might shift down a little when you walk but not like I expected but they aren't so tight that they dig into my thighs either. I think maybe the structure of the material keeps them up. They are also surprisingly comfortable - I have a hard time with pointed toes sometimes because my foot wants to slide forward but these aren't too bad. They have some nice cushioning in the foot bed and the heels feel pretty sturdy. I am usually between a size 8 and 8.5 but I went with 8 because of the pointed toe and they are almost a little too roomy but I like that so I can wear socks with them.
