I just needed something for a hobbit themed brunch I was hosting and loved the pattern. The ribs are pretty flimsy and the straps are weak but it's good for the price and in a pinch. Everyone kept saying you should get a bigger size but I regret that, I got a medium because I have a big rib cage and I tighten it all the way and it's still a little too large so don't listen to everyone and go by the measurements. I absolutely love how cute this corset is! It's very lightweight, and the material has a soft woven texture. My only issue is because of how small I am the chest area was a little loose on me, but it's not awful. I'll have to have some help with getting the straps adjusted as well, since they come long to adjust to your own length which is really nice. The lace up cord also comes long so you can trim it as long or short as you need. It's not super high quality, but for the Ren faire it's perfect! Love this! Read more
(for colorful, small) This corset looked great, but had a few issues: I have a 27" waist. I bought the small (25.6 - 27.6") but it was too large to fit my waist. I had to sew the back to size it down. The straps tended to get twisted and didn't look very good One of the plastic stiffeners in the front poked through the fabric and scratched me (see photo) I would only buy this corset if you expect to wear it once or twice. The media could not be loaded. I order a Large to make sure I could fit my chest. Probably could fit a medium nicely as well. For reference I wear a 36DDD, 5'5", 165-170lbs. My weight fluctuates a lot so I can't pin it down for you. This product for some reason has lots of low reviews. It's decent enough quality stitching. The strings that come with it fray a lot so that's definitely something over time you'll have to replace. They're still very very long. I got this when it was on sale for I think $15.99. So to me it's definitely better then other finds. It's not a corset. It's a vest. It does have boning which works fine and actually shapes to you. I can't say how long this will last. I plan on using it for Renaissance Faires only. I'll let you be the judge of whether this is something you'd be ok buying. I like it and feel it has harsh reviews for no real reason. Read more
legit they sent me something someone must have thrown out. the material seems decent but the lacing is ripped and hanging off in several places and it has completely defective straps, essentially no straps at all, like someone cut them or they were just never sewn into place. the corset tie string is low quality an frayed at the end. also i ordered a small and this corset is definitely a size large and would be impossible to tighten into a small -- that's how much fabric there is. really disappointing. couldn't even try it on. The plastic boning in the corset started to come out of place after only trying it on once. The straps are kind of bulky and difficult to tie- the front tie is thick fabric and the back tie just lace. Otherwise, it’s cute and fits well. The issue is with the quality. Read more
I was scheduled to work an Oktoberfest event in my city and needed to put together a quick German-style outfit. I paired this corset top with a blouse and it turned out great! The top was a good quality and thick material. I felt like it was very flattering on me. I ordered the "A-lace Flower, Small". For me, it was cropped and stopped just above my belly button. The top needs to be laced up which does take a few minutes but it makes it super adjustable. Read more
I like it for only $19. Good for the Renaissance festival. A few cons: Not the best mobility (but it's a corset so that's expected) I wouldn't recommend this if you plan on holding children or doing a lot of movement. I'm a bit afraid it will burst. I don't have a large chest but I have a very wide ribcage which makes it hard to wear/breathe in. Lastly, sizing is hard with corsets. This one fits me relatively well. But because of my barrel chest and small waist, I can't tie it all the way down in fear of it coming loose at the bottom and unraveling. I'm wearing an XL and just decided to tie it right under my chest. Other than that, I love it and feel pretty in it. Just a few more accessories to tie it all together! Read more
