Now, I got a medium, and waist wise it fits perfectly, as it has a elastic waistband, and the pleats at the back give it the give it needs to adjust to any waist size within its range. The pants drape over the buttocks, without being overly tight on the thighs and then fall straight down. I took down a star because it "balloons" up on the gap space between the waist line and the rise of your buttocks, And when you sit down, the same thing happens in the front. They did get wrinkled, not as bad as linen pants would, but after a day of using them, they had wrinkles due to me sitting and crossing my legs most of the time. These are however, lightweight pants that are easy to store away, as they do not take much space. I took down stars on looks and thickness because I can see my cellulite dimples around the buttocks and upper tights, even though the fabric is not stretched over my skin, so if that is an issue you would be uncomfortable with, you may want to size up. These women’s wide-leg pants are nicely made; lightweight and cool, and quite in style right now. They are nicely constructed, including finished buttons at the waist, sturdy zipper closure, comfortable waistband with elasticized back, giving a nice fit at the top. I had hoped these would work for my daughter, but they are quite a bit too short for her (she’s tall!); but they are too long for me by several inches. So I don’t know yet whether I will tackle re-hemming or will have to donate these; but they are a lovely pair of pants either as a professional look or for business-casual wear, and the color is great for many style options. They have some unique laundering notes: I don't believe I've ever before seen "do not soak." Finally a pair of “work pants” that are actually something geared more toward the office than the gym. They have an actual button fly and zipper but have elastic in the back of the waistband for stretch. Helps them fit perfectly. The fabric is really light and flowy, with a khaki adjacent color. They are a bit too long on me (5’ 5”) but look straightforward to hem. Fabric is not transparent, even thought the weight is relatively light.
