These Bottega Campanini linen pants are exactly what I want to live in during summer. They’re real linen, lightweight, breathable, beautifully textured, and they feel elevated and luxe while still being relaxed. The quality is noticeable, and knowing they’re made in Italy really shows in the fabric and finish. The fit is flattering. Even though they’re one-size, they fit like a standard Medium and drape really well due to the high waist and wide-leg cut. These are really comfortable linen pants! They're really lightweight, they fit really well, and they just look good! They're not super cheap pants either, both in that they're made really well and the price isn't what I would call "cheap" but they're not overly expensive either. Great summer pants! They are a bit sheer but a nice material. I am 5 foot 4 inches and they are long on me. Will have to take up 3 or 4 inches. I am a size 10-12 and the fit is great in the waist and thighs. Like the draw string and overall vibe of these pants! Read more
I took a chance on these "one size fits all" 100% linen trousers by Bottega Campanini because they're made in Italy and I've had great luck with shoes that are made in Italy. However, I knew from previous experience that a "one size fits all" doesn't usually mean that they'd fit properly. The fabric feels a little stiff but as you wear them throughout the day, it becomes looser and wrinkled at the hip area if you sit for any length of time. They're definitely made of 100% pure linen so there's no stretch to the fabric but the waistband is elastic all the way around. I just couldn't get them to look attractive on me no matter what I tried. For reference I weigh 118 pounds and wear a size small or a 4 in most jeans and pants. These pants have way too much material to be flattering on me. The picture of the model in the photos has to have the pants pulled tighter in the back to get that casual and gorgeous look. I found that they were too big for me in every way and the crotch area hung down way too low for them to be flattering on me. It's funny, they don't look particularly impressive out of the bag, with an elastic waist (including tie-up to cinch), and the material is a bit wrinkly from the packaging, but once you put them on they are incredibly stylish, with the classy look of linen, and the comfort you expect from that fabric. Breathable, not too soft but not scratchy. They're a big baggier down the leg than in the pics, but that's a good thing as that is the style these days. I do like the look and fit of these linen pants. I am 5’7” and usually wear a medium. These fit and have a little room to spare. The description says that one size fits all. I’d say that description is a tad bit fanciful. It’s more like one size fits most. If you wear a small, medium or large, then you are probably going to like them. If you wear any other size, you probably won’t be very happy. The pants are a nice weight and have a lovely breatheability to them. They would make nice summer attire, or vacation wear. Read more
I've been trying to transition my clothes from synthetic fabrics to more linen, cotton, and natural fabrics, so I was excited to try these out. I was a little hesitant seeing as they are one size fits all, I generally wear an XS or S in pants, and was worried they might be too big. They fit great on me, so I'm not sure anyone past a large would like the sizing of these. They are very comfortable, lightweight, and breathable, as real linen is. The color is beautiful. They are made in Italy which leads me to believe the linen is as of high quality as it feels and looks. They are quite long so perfect for the tall girls, but I'll have to get mine hemmed as I don't wear heels high enough. Very happy with these! Read more
