Growing up, I was always afraid of "wool" garments or "blankets, which I specifically remember" feeling very hot and itchy... No Thank you! Lol! But not this sweater, "100% wool" has definitely come along way, evidently having undergone significant improvement or modernization of the weave itself, or fabric make up, or "something!" over the years! This sweater feels great, soft just as you would want it to feel, is very well designed and constructed. The neckline comes up high in the back with the "crew" style, which I really appreciate as it hides back fat flaws, etc. It lays very nicely in the front, though for an "XL" probably runs a little small but not terribly, it definitely fits Me. Can be worn out, covers your torso or belly area and looks good, or even worn tucked in if you so desire. It's very fashionable looking, very flattering to your upper body, and can be dressed up or down. Though it comes in several colors, I chose "classic" black, which will go with anything!
